I have found this pattern to work for Newborns: Cast on 26 pegs, rotate knitting a row then purling a row until you reach a length of 3.5 inches, decrease on both sides until you are down to 6 pegs (total of 5 inches), continue you working as you have for 3 more inches, increase the stitch until you are using 16 pegs, continue until the entire work is 13.5 inches. Equals out to 80 rows total. I hope this helps.
This was a great tutorial. I am new to loom knitting and was able to make a diaper cover in one day, no problems. Someone mentioned she wished there were verbal instructions, but I am the opposite. I loved that this was strictly visual. I would watch a section, pause, do that section, restart video, etc. Thanks again!
+Anne L. Sheldon thank you so much for your feedback :) We are glad to know this tutorial was useful for you! (BTW, feel free to send us pictures of your results to info@tuteate.com if you want).
I love your videos! It is so easy to follow my progress. I really love how you set up the steps videos to look at & find where you are in the process of the projects. The music instead of talking is great too!
Thank you so much Anita! :) (and sorry for taking so long in replying!) I'm glad to read you find the links to the steps useful! (and just in case you don't know it, we have a free app now too: tuteate.com )
Have you used this over a diaper to keep baby dry or is this just for looks (adorable, btw)? How many would you cast on for a 1-18month? Or 15 month old?
Hello Tuteate, your videos are my favorite to follow. Who needs a voice when the visual is slow and methodical. If you can list the yarn weight that you use in your tutorials it would be greatly appreciated. Carry on!
with 36 peg turns out huge with bernat blanket yarn i think the 31 peg would be okay i think i would do the stretch cast off as this bind off always is too tight

Hello tuteate ! you are really good ! also your ideas ! i want to challenge you : could you make a video to learn to loom a dress for a kid ? (sorry for my bad english, i'm french) what do you think about ?
+Theresa Mauragas hi! Since this project is worked in flat panel (in rows, not in rounds), you don't need a smaller loom, you just need to use less than 36 peg. Here you can check some pictures of the process that maybe can help you see how to adapt it to other sizes: www.tuteate.com/2015/07/08/teje-unos-pantalones-cubre-panales/
Oh! Sorry for my late reply! I didn't see this message! I would love to see a picture of your result if that is still possible! Are you on Instagram? Could you share a picture with me there?
@@Tuteate that's ok I've not got it now I lost a few pictures when I got a new phone. I was wondering if you be able to make bibe on the loom I've been making baby stuff for chirty xx
