A lot of furry friends are afraid of fireworks, which makes celebrations like New Years' Eve very stressful for them. This video contains a soundtrack that is specially designed to include the kinds of firework sounds that dogs tend to be the most frightened of (individual crackers and loud whines). 🐶 🎊
Start your training at least a few weeks before the fireworks will occur. Play this track at a low volume several times, before you gradually increase it. It is very important that you, the dog's best friend and pack leader, act normally and seem unaffected by the audio track. Remember that your dog will look to you to see if the firework sounds indicate any sort of danger. You may combine this with clicker-training or treats.
