Not really. Escanor one shots turn one. You can use the same strategy that we used to use against that green counter meli, on this new green assault meli. Just don’t attack unless you can one shot (which Escanor can.)
Last time I was this early we had to stare at our phones while our gear was upgrading.

Balance? Where are you? No unit should be able to 1v4 that's just entirely destroying purpose of building teams. Yes ofc it's fun etc. but not from the balance side.
If you use a lv meli ult rush team, you just rush ult in the 1st turn and it’s gg for assault meli.
The same goes for the entire assault meli team.

@@turtletre324 1. Lv meli ult might not be 6/6. Also, he tanked because he ulted, which is impossible in a scenario where lv meli ult rushes.
2. Lv meli can finish off with other cards after the ult.
@@turtletre324 LV ult rush is still a counter to him. Obviously depends on ult level, amount of LV cards, and if Assault's passive built up at all.
And even if he can tank it, still dies to getting attacked afterwards.

When the PvP rules change Assault Meli will be even worse. Right now the best counter is: not attacking. And this tactic is heavily disturbed by the one ult gage per turn rule. So when the rule goes away, Melis passive will be even worse than it is right now.

Try Meliodas assault mode, red melascula commandment, green monspeet and red zeldris in the sub in a mirror match so if your opponent attacks monspeet ( this will activate meliodas passive) and if he doesn't attack melascula will ignite all the team and monspeet will do big damage
They can just ult rush
Yah i thought about alt rush it complicates things see if they aren't using goddess liz then i think monspeet can kill but if they are using her then you lose it depends on what alt rush variant we are talking about
