Learn to draw and paint a whimsical watercolor moon. I walk you through step-by-step how to draw the moon and face shapes and then how to paint and add a sense of whimsy with doodle elements. Total run time is just over an hour start to finish, and this is packed full of tips and tricks to help you create a cute, whimsical watercolor moon, even if you don't have much drawing or painting experience.

✏️ Supplies Needed ✏️
I have only provided specific links for the things that can't be found at any art/craft supply store, and I do not get commission on anything I recommend - these are just the supplies I love.
Paper: I usually use Strathmore 400 acrylic paper, but for watercolor, any watercolor paper will work.
Pens: Love Sharpies, but generally any waterfast pen will work. For white pen work I love the Uniball Signo White Gel Pen
Watercolor: My most used sets are Josie Lewis and Art Philosophy Co. Watercolor Confections sets

Tape: I prefer Washi tape 1" wide - generally available at any art/craft store, but you an use painter's tape as well.

I can’t wait to try this one, I am in bed at the moment, I caught Covid from my daughter in the 4 th week now, up and down with fatigue,today is a down, so cheered me up when I saw you had posted.
Can I please ask you where you got your rubber or what make as I am in the U.K. so will have to try and find it here.. I have 3 rubbers including a putty one and none work like yours seem too.. keep posting x
I'm so glad it brightened your day, and nooooo! I'm sorry you've got covid. I hope you get to feeling better quickly with no longer term problems. The rubbers (what I call an eraser, right?) are called Pentel Hi-Polymer Erasers and they're white. I adore them! They work really well, and I even like them better than my kneaded putty one. I can find them at many art stores locally, but I know Amazon has them too. Thanks for being here!!! There will be another video next week. :)
