I have tried many online instructors over the past several months because of COVID-19. You are the best and I have the equipment you use! I am so relieved.🙏
I am so excited I found your videos. I started at level 1and am currently at Level 4. I feel so proud when I “graduate” to the next level! Your instructions and cues keep me focused on doing the exercises with precesion. Thank you so very much. I have never commented on TH-cam before but had to let you know how much I appreciate you!
I'm excited you found them too! Wow...well done for progressing from 1 to 4 in these strength and conditioning programs. There is no rush...only progress once you can complete the whole workout without too much muscle soreness the following days. If you are at a level and you can do all the exercises but are pulling up with muscle soreness afterward...stay on that level until your strength and endurance matches up. I know...graduating is cool isn't it. And then on days where you feel less strong (like when you are menstruating for example) then you drop down to a lower level so you still get a workout in but honouring how you feel that day. Thanks so much for commenting Renee...I really appreciate it. You have made my day with what you shared.
I genuinely like your videos, and, the way you re-enforce and remind one the purpose and aspects of Pilates. Thinking about abs, concentration on neck and spine, hip and pelvic alignment, etc. Friendly and professional. The manner in which you lead the exercises assures your audience, myself included, dedicated Pilates Reformer exercises need not be done with a group, but on one's own schedule and in one's own time. And, the exercises can be done correctly! Two years following your instructions for levels 1, 2, 3 and 4. Thank you Nell.
Thanks for your comment, I'm happy you think so. The Pilates Method is referred to as 'the Thinking Persons Method' by some...you focus your mind on your muscles and move with awareness and control....it makes all the difference. I'm just teaching the Method as my amazing teachers have taught me. I am so thrilled to hear you are progressing. WOW getting to level 4 in just 2 years is fantastic. Patience and perseverance is key, as well as listening to your body and only progressing when your body is ready. No rush. Keep up the good work!
Love, love, love your comment Rebecca! I really like Level 4 too. You are very welcome and I so pleased to hear its helping you. Keep up the good work!
Bingo, I've just completed your level 4 in one session with alot more strength than my first time.👏 I do your workouts all the time for my own personal practise. Depending how I feel it can be a level 1 - 4 or even parts of 5 and 6. I mix it up and of course like all instructors I tend to the exercises I like as oppose to need to do. Thankyou so much for your generosity in sharing your programs it is much appreciated. 🙏
Woohoo! 💪🏼 you got it! Your comment is gold to me. You have worked your way through the system with patience and perseverance and as a result reaping the benefits. Thanks so much for sharing your experience. Love it!
Wow Nell, how great to do all of those exercises that are sometimes quite difficult to teach and talk through. Great that you can demonstrate. I feel great. Thanks again 🙏
You're so welcome! Yes, teaching the exercises whilst also trying to give people a 'movement experience' can be a bit of an art. You want to teach the detail but not be blabbering the whole time! I am grateful that I can still practice these exercises. It's a testament that building your body up slowly and gradually with these exercises, has long lasting results.
The very best reformer videos i have ever trled. And level 4 is just the best for .me. i started wlth this exercise and want to see results in a few weeks.
Thank you Recep! I'm so happy to hear you are getting so much from this level. Be patient with yourself, 'Persistence' is one of the modern pilates principles, so keep up a regular practice, listen to your body by challenging it but not pushing it too hard and the results will come.
Oh no..sorry to hear that but I’m glad you find my workouts rewarding. There is a ‘donate’ option called ‘Super Thanks’ where people can donate but I haven’t activated that yet! You can also find a more comprehensive program on my website nellh.tv
Renee your generosity has made my day! I have put many, many hours into these workout videos and for you to acknowledge that with your Super Thanks means a lot to me. Sincere thanks. Nellx
I'm really enjoying your workouts and how you smoothly transition to the next move. Is there somewhere online I can print out your routines, so that I can post them on my workout wall, so I am able to listen to music, watch you and know where we are headed next?
Sharon Boilesen thanks for your comment. I agree, it is challenging! That’s the way, keep practicing on a regular basis and you will feel your strength and stamina improve for sure.
I have a question. I dont really identify the springs for 1/4 or 3/4, etc. Just for colors. Can you traduce in colors the resistances? I have 1 red, 2 blues, 1 yellow and 1 black
Hi Leticia. Thanks for your comment. Each reformer brand has different colours. You need to pull on your springs and identify which is the strong spring, which is a little lighter so that would be a medium spring and which is the lightest. In my videos, 1 spring = 1 strong. 1/2 = medium and 1/4 = lightest. So if I say 1 1/2 springs, that means 1 strong plus 1 medium. Hope that helps.
Andrea Ortiz thanks for your comment. My reformer is from PilatesEquip. It’s a studio reformer. Stott/Merrithew and Balanced Body are excellent brands also.
Sharon Boilesen did you mean the program? If you go to the description of the workout you will find the link to print it up. Let me know if you have any problems.
Helene Atwell your comment made me smile. I totally get it...it’s an intense workout and love it how you did it in 2 sessions. Smart. As you get stronger you will eventually be able to do the whole workout in one go. Keep up the good work.
