Pile 3 - funny, this is talking about me, not him. He was the one shutting me out, I wanted clearity, I felt left hanging etc. I was basically asking him if he's in or out of this friendship (it was non-romantic). He told me he'd text back after christmas, never did, ghosts me ever since. Now I wonder why I watched a reading to get my own feelings reflected back to me and what that means. It's been a lomg while since I felt called to a pick a card reading, too.
That can indicate a lot of mirroring going on in the situation (that he for various reasons he feels on certain levels the same way you do or did feel that way earlier on which could’ve led to him shutting you out.)

I never shut him out, but was done with his avoidant attachment so he probably sensed in my last message that I was about to walk away. Now I know I never truly can.
I have a question idea, not sure how to phrase it exactly.. In a TF separation phase, how can you move on and evolve without cord cutting, but also without attachment. How to *not* try and "throw the baby out with the bath water" ? (so to speak 🙏🏾) 💛

I think that whatever you need to do to achieve some “wiggle room” for yourself in conjunction with the connection is worth exploring. Detachment is something that can definitely feel like one step forward two steps back and can also be hastened through work you’re doing in other ways to heal & empower yourself (as you start to grow & evolve the attachment/hold of things that may feel stagnant starts to loosen itself organically so it’s a combination of force of will and allowing that can move you to thar space of truly letting go.)

Pile#1 you are on point on everything you said but I stopped talking to him even put distance by moving to another state
Pile 2 resonated with me perfectly- genuinely felt like a personal reading when he has expressed these exact things to me in the past and how his confusion at my authenticity is too good to be true (with how awful his previous relationships were). I've especially woken up after the nonsense he pulled with someone else, as he tried to go back into old, self sabotaging, childish habits. This has worked in my favor in ways I didn't expect.
