Been to fuerto several times but never fished there. However from the apartment on the cliffs I did spot a massive shoal of fish off the beach and watched as it changed shape! People swimming close by were completely oblivious. I have often wondered what they might have been?
That is a very accurate reflection of fishing👏 Hate moray eels, had a mate who got bitten and it took ages to heal. Do you like to use the ISO float tackle like some of the locals to fish for the smaller fish, mullet and parrot fish, or do you prefer to focus on the bigger fish?
I know prefer to focus on other stuff and funnily enough the next 2 video are float fishing sessions so keep an eye out. The other 2 guys really want to get something big so I try my best to put them on marks that will do that but they always fall to me🤦😂 the last thing I want is a stingray, they seriously bore me now. Float fishing all day
Nothing worse than losing gear when fishing , Ive had a session where I had 4 casts and lost 3 lots of gear , packed up and buggered off home . Couple of nice little fish for Mark and Pete though , hope Pete wasn't bitten to bad 👍🎣
It's funny Pete getting bitten🤣 he was expressing how vicious it was then I told him to pick it up so he did🤣 Yeah I'm not int loosing gear wayne especially when it's not easily replaceable
@stevestheboy1 yes you can get them out there, that's what I do. I don't know where the office is in tenerife but your hotel would be able to point you in the right direction
I've fished gran Canaria, for years, total stingrays 80 fish whole joeys, between 7 too 55kgs, smoothhounds, up 2..... 25kgs.once got stabbed by a stingray, hospital, stomach 8cm in lost half litre of blood, ct scan etc, cost 1500 euros, but lived, thank god, fished 2 nights later, 4 stingrays totaling 130 kgs, peuro Rico rocks at night, on my own.... 😊😊🏴🇫🇷🇫🇷
I wouldn't want to be stung by a stingray. I've probably had that amount in the 16 years I've been fishing fuerte. I'm bored of catching stingrays but know there are some other awesome fish to catch so keep returning🎣

Surprised you do so much bottom fishing out there in the Canaries it really must be a tackle graveyard lol.
No the Eastern canaries have some really good sandy beaches and alot of sandy bottom thanks to the saharan sand
