Does anyone else find that the front (1st) door sometimes gets stuck and the openning sound constantly replays. I have no idea how to fix it either, I end up restarting the game.

That sounds pretty sick! Would you know how to remove the constant ABS interference with the bus? On every turn or deceleration, the ABS always engages and its reallly frustrating. Otherwise a good bus. Nice driving by the way.

The sound is very realistic. but the clipping noise you hear when throttling in omsi is very annoying :/. Great vid btw!

Try lowering your sound volume in omsi. This is because of complicated reasons in the audio mixer.

In OMSI, at least the handles do not break in Scania...

you might have the hof file in the wrong place or no hof files in the bus folder

Hey:) i downloaded the same mod, But i have some probs, the stationbrale doesn't work.. can you help me with that:)
This bus doesn't have a station brake. The key in OMSI that is used for the station break, operates the rear (3rd) door in this bus. The keys for 1st and 2nd doors work as normal, for the fron and second doors.
Try the O405GN2! It was released like 1 day+ ago.
+SMB3149X Studios I tried it yesterday, but the only thing I liked on it was the sounds. It needs some more work, especially on the model, which is really inaccurate at some places. :)

@@routeres Thank you so much! Took a few tries but all up and running now. These are some of the best modelled buses in the game I think. The sounds are spot on and they even have that Scania refinement and quality, just like they do in real life! Do you still play the game? Have been watching this video for years but didn't have a decent computer. Finally can play this route. :)
It is indeed a very nice model, Alterr did a little community crowdfunding back in the days in order to buy it for conversion, and Ratti brought his sound magic in this mod.
I still have the game installed but I don't really play it anymore. Work takes up most of my time.

How do you get that so smooth? I have Ryzen 5 1600X, 16GB of RAM and GTX1080 and it's laggy as hell.
+Pavel Grulich Reducing the number of tiles to 1 brings the most noticeable increase in fps. View distance will be lower and smaller lags from loading the scenery will also happen a bit more often, but in overall the gameplay will be smoother.
Also feel free to try my settings, I keep tweaking them from time to time. You can find the option preset file at the end of the video description.

I found out that the tile setting was already on 1, the view distance is set to 750 and particle systems are on 1000. I set the targetted framerate from default 40fps to 74, which is my monitor refresh rate and now it's as smooth as your video. The only thing, that remains, is the split-second lags during the scenery load, but that seems fine.
Anyway, I'll try your settings. Thanks for help :)

The bus is nice, but extremely slippery
Install either Morphi's or Ratti's soundpack, that fixes the "slippery" suspension.

Hey, that's a clear sign of missing fonts. Make sure you install the fonts too, and not just the vehicle.

If it still doesn't work then try to verify your game cache on Steam, maybe you have some default fonts missing.

You say the template on this bus is a mess. IRL theese buses are a Big mess. Noisy interior, weak engines, poor gearbox power output, suspension is too soft and too stiff at the same time. And the drivere space gives me back pain. I just can't find a comfy driving position in theese buses as a IRL driver. My Company also have a long list of problems all the buses they have in service got in their 2 years of life now!
