As somebody with over 600 battles in my Maus, and is my most played tank, I can say I love it and it's totally worth it. Course not everyone likes the slow game.

The Maus doesn't move through the map, the threads rotate the Earth until it gets to the point that it wants to be at.

I’ve been grinding for the maus so much now, for the last two days I finally found the motivation to complete rank 5 and now I’m on the maus. Main problem is the I’ve failed a few exams

The Maus can be great fun, but the BR system definitely stacks the odds against it. It's up to you to mitigate that problem.
Personally I bring it with other similar but strictly lower or equal BR vehicles, and only actually field it in downtiers.
I got the Ru251 long ago and picked up the M47 on this 50% sale.
Also, if you're one of the glorious madmen that fields his Kugelblitz first to eat BMPs etc early game, your local Maus will absolutely love you hanging out nearby, and his massive gravitational field will attract food for you in the form of aircraft and IFVs.

I remember when Maus used to be top tier and no heatfs or apfsds shells existed, and steep angles of attack caused shells to glance off, instead of just counting towards armor thickness.

Sometimes, the small circle for your aim towards an air target is not really for your aim, but it's to position your bullets that shooting the target. That's why there chances that you failed to nailed a hit.

6:10 long 88 can actually go through the UFP of the su12254, as the 100mm plate is at 45° instead of 60° like T 54's, so the tiger 2 can go through it up to like 1000m....

@@jessegd6306 I have british and russian top tier, there is no bias, only the damage mechanics are bad. It's gonna be paragraphs of explaining to completly explain it, but the tldr is that fuel tanks and ammo don't cretae spalling/shrapnel and armor thinner than 5mm doesn't create shrapnel either, and the carousel armor is 4mm iirc... this is why russian tanks seem to "absorb" rounds, while for example the Abrams not. Because the fuel tanks have armor around them which is I believe 20-30mm thick (I don't remember now but it's thick) which can after the round leaves the fuel tank, create shrapnel... the problem is, if everything created shrapnel, it would hurt the game performance a lot, as a lot of the rounds with high rate of fire have low penetration, so when high rate of fire guns shoot at poorly armored targets(trucks) , it would have to calculate so much shrapnel, so instead of doing that,they just decided to scrap that... and its side effect is that since russian tanks have poor armor inside and most western tanks have good armor inside , it happens to benefit the tanks of the poor... I know it's bullshit but that's the way I see it...
I don't even have any motivation to grind out anything during this event. I wish they added all brand new vehicles to this event, not just the same ones from years ago.

The maus grind was actually pretty fun in the beginning at 7.3 but then at the ending as soon as I got 54,000 research points away from getting it it got extremely difficult and the game kept on putting me at full up tears where I was fighting 87 vehicles while I only had 7.3 up to the leopard one my loadout literally consists of the leopard one m48a2c, LEk pz m41, marder A1 ,spz bmp1 along with an ostwind a pzsflic and and sdkfz 234 puma it's a decent loadout but the problem is when you get full up to your every game at the end of that grind it extends your grind and entire day lol 😂 guys and gave us a gift while also cursing as partially at the same time lol , also figured I would add this on for people who don't know that have the 10th year anniversary update currently right next to the big red tank there is a character that is wearing full blue that is standing in the middle of the road if you click on him you can walk around as him if you're on console if you hold left bumper you will Sprint I don't know what the equivalent is on PC but I would assume it being the space bar or even shift , there is one in the tank hanger the plane hanger and the boat dock the boat dock is the hardest one to see as he is behind a fence right next to a war thunder flag that also has a pile of presents next to it lol but besides that hope anybody reading has a good day and good luck to all and may you all find peace in your domain

Gratz, I'm slowly getting there. But sometimes my team force me to take brakes between matches.
Im so glad i focused my efforts on the tiger 105 and panther 2 when they announced the maus leaving the game. In hindsight its probably the best decision ive ever made in the game. They are likely never bringing those two vehicles back. Fortunately i got the maus done the following halloween

Got my maus when it was still in the tech tree, its great fun so I love that gaijin still allows people to get it, would be great if they brought back the panther 2 tiger 105 and coelian for people though
