"why would anybody pay for a refill?"
Me: *cries in european*
Yes! Finally! Something we Americans have better than y'all! Haha! We may have the shittiest measurement system but we have free refills! Lmao, I didn't realize people were still commenting in this. Btw, I was joking about that being good. It's a pretty shittu thing.
@@1sg.Airhead idk if yall should be that proud about it. Just saying
@Dev King Yeah everything' better until you have to sell your house and half of the family to pay the medical bills
@Dev King as an american, the systems are not that great. the food is so much more healthy in other countries, im not talking about fast food or portions of food im talking about the processed foods in stores. healthcare is free for EVERYONE in so many countries, and it's not in america. there's so many people that hate others because of their fucking political views, do you realize how horrible that is? to hate someone because of who they wanted to be president? it's not like that in other places. i would rather be in canada that america, but all my family lives here so im stuck here
As someone not in the US, "why would people pay for a refill" "Well because you're taking more of the product, so you pay for it" it's standard for the rest of the world
Exactly! its just ethically wrongful of anyone to use a product that they never paid for
@@jeninad6969 True but it's also ethically wrongful for restaurants to mark up the price of soda by 1500%.
Soft drinks are a scam to begin with but we NEED THEM
@@aleetee2003 They cost 20 cents to market and they resell the soft drinks for $2
I'd expect everyone to ask for a water cup and fill it up with soda.
Pretty sure everyone does that. Actually I work at Chipotle and one time I had a guy ask if we had a bigger water cup. Was just like why, so you could get more free soda?
One time on a school choir trip we stopped at McDonalds after the auditions (it was for honor choir) and I filled up the water bottle I brought with soda lmao
Q: Has Voldemort in Harry Potter ever had a face off in your subway
Milad: so there was this one time...
Mom: What did you have for lunch today?
Milad: So there was this one time,
The Subway I go to uses the same dispenser for water and lemonade, so it's a running joke in my community that our Subway offers free lemonade
in germany, free refills are so Uncommon, if they ARE free refills it feels like you stealing. You be like "can i? is that..allowed? Halp?"
getting soda in a water cup is only for the legendary.
I feel the same way. Especially since as a kid, it was my parents who did it first then told me to do the same because we didn't have enough money to pay for the soda. It was only until I was 8 to 14/15? because my parents were going through a rough patch in jobs, insurance and cars. (I cannot remember, but I do remember food stamps.)
It took awhile to grow out of the habit but after my parents made it clear it isn't a good thing to do, and that you're not paying for the soda and we only did that cause we were struggling well man... I stopped using the free water cup for soda. And felt horrible for those years of not paying that I now tip every restaurant I go to the price of a small soda.
It’s like people filling up water cups with soda😂
I used to do it all the time I even got into it a McDonald’s manager cause I bought a shake, and when I was done rinsed out the cup and was filling it w soda and he made me dump it out
@@DaBro1102 lol, I do that all the time at Whataburger. I'll get a large Dr. Pepper shake and when I drink it all I'll refill it with regular Dr. Pepper.
when there's a soft drink machine next to a water vending machine.
water cup: Why are we here, just to suffer?
Me : “eating subway”
Stranger : “ puts coke into a water cup”
Me : “he’s bad news he’s a menace society”
“Did you ever develop nuclear bombs for the motherland russia”

I am turning 15 in 4 days and then I can work and cause of you’re story’s, I want to work at subway
Apply and you'll surely get the job! Also love the Vaporeon Pokemon profile picture!
Milad: “If you fill up your water cup with soda then you’re the bottom of the barrel”
Me: begins to feel horrible about my 9 year old self filling up the water cup with soda at the local Chuck E Cheese
@@yttrv8430 I just think whoever is losing from my criminal activity isn't really losing much. Having said that, I don't remember the last time I did it. I'm not that broke anymore and can afford meals that include a fountain drink already instead of ordering value menu items and a cup of water.
Charles E Cheese doesn't judge the young, because he knows what it felt like to be an orphan and not have a birthday party. (part of the official lore from CEC Entertainment)
Okay, so why would anyone get a large drink rather than a small one when refills are free?
Getting up less, drive throughs, and if the cup is able to be taken, then more drink for yourself after you have left the place.
I get small ones when i am at a restaraunt. It means i have to get up a few more times but ensures i get the most carbonated soda.
Tbf i rarely eat out and when i do its like McDonald's so it doesnt matter. It's all the same price.
Milad: "If you use water cups for soda, you're the bottom of the barrel."
Me: "But isn't that everyone?"
always got given a large cup they even told me that it ain't got to be water maybe that employee just did not like their work environment
Milad's Dad: How was lunch?
Milad: So there was this one time.
The thing is, refills are culturally normal here... so it's wrong to not do it. Plus, considering how large the mark up is for them, there is very little loss for a refill anyways.
Milan to soda-in-the-water-cuppers:
He a menace to society
Thank you for always brightening our days Milad!!!
Commenter:” have you ever killed someone?”
Milad:” so there was this one time...”
Your always so kind and you never make a customer feel bad or sad “go to the next 3 videos you see and say something creative and king”
Thank you, you have inspired me I know this sounds like I’m being sarcastic but I’m being serious I’m 15 and was kinda in a bad place in my life but I stumbled across your videos and so I started watching more and you have changed that way I feel and I just want to think you and you made me consider getting a job at my local subway so once again thank you I know you probably won’t see this but know that I’m thankful.
Milad: there is free refill in the USA
Me: I am coming to the USA
Why not have free refills. The Drinks are the cheapest way to keep people coming in.
I just came to the store! I saw you outside when you were going in great timing and was so happy to see you!
I've had people, usually teens, come in and ask for a cup for water and somehow I just knew their real intentions. So I would give them a cup and tell them to get whatever they want. I told them none of us care so enjoy a soft drink on the house. Not only did it save them the trouble of trying to be inconspicuous, but some of them would end up buying food they didn't intend to buy too.
1.82 million subscribers, that bears repeating, 1.82 million subscribers, Plus free refills you're killing it here, I love it !
'' This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life'-Man, Unkown year
Its like the opposite of buying cookie and getting it for free
Ever since I’ve watching your videos I’m craving subway more and more thanks Milad !🙏
Reminds me of that one SpongeBob episode where Mr.krabs says *no free refills* and like teleports the drink back to the fountain
I failed you Milad. I fill up my water cup with soda
"have you ever killed someone for ordering a nasty sub?"
milad: so there was this one time
when you have been doing subway for so long that you can do it in your sleep
How is it that a guy working in subway, filming it and telling us stories is so goddamn captivating?
Brilliant. Love from Sweden man
The dude: “This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever *SEEN* in my life”
Me: *Hold up.*
as a subway frequenter from the UK, watching you put more salami on that sandwich than the entire subway meat allowance for the whole BMT, was eye-opening. We getting ripped off over here
Murderers > People who get soda in a water cup
As a Moroccan, I was pleasantly surprised when I went to Europe and found out that refills are free. In my country, soda machines are behind the employees and they are in charge of the filling.
Back in the early 90s even over here in the USA I remember there being some places where the soda machines were behind the counter for the employees to use. Then later on they moved to having the customer do it themselves to free up the employees to do other work.
Milad always makes my day
Favourite TH-cam Channel right now. I’m a 36 year old, not working in a restaurant anymore, but had some of the best times of my life there and made life long best friends.
Lmao the way he ranted about the money difference in the large
Multi-billion pound companies when a single customer says they're not coming back: My disappointment hasn't changed and my day is average.
@@fracturedzone7225 Still, just a single lost customer isn't really that big of a deal. How many people actually eat at Subway all that often, like it's a nice thing every now and then but like if you have a noticeable negative impact on a specific Subway if you stop eating there, you might be eating there too often.
I love free refills 😆

Me who has filled a water cup with soda when I was younger: 👀 🥤
This one time my brother wanted to get a milkshake at America (we were going there for holiday) and when we got the milkshake, it was like MASSIVE and there was another random cup around the same size. When we asked the worker if it was an accident they said ‘No, that’s the refill.’ please you do not understand how much my brother had to drink, I’m pretty sure I helped him out but WOW.
Charging for refills will very easily discourage anyone from coming back.
Yep, the markup is already super high, charging for refills is just scummy imo
At least in the USA... But why would anyone buy anthing else than the big cup if there are refills?
Subway consider some of Milad’s ideas
Give infinite cookies
Just came from the live stream 😂
Love your TikToks❤️
Thank you for making my day
This subway completely changed my life. A few months ago I lost my job, house and kids. I was homeless and I lived outside of this subway. I lived outside this store for a few months and one day a nice, young man came outside and gave me a free cookie. Everyday since then he has given me something and it progressively got better. He started giving subs and a few dollars. This continued for weeks with just subs then one day he donated 100$. From that day he has given me mansions, cars, and millions of dollars. I will never forget you milarg mird.
-Homeless man infront of your subway.
Lol fast food drinks are WAY overpriced anyway, refills should definitely be free
you are paying for the convenance. Subway subs are overpriced vs making it yourself. You can choose to not buy their drinks and eventually they will just lower their price.
Milad has all the stories, they are always so interesting
I wouldn't go back there if you tried to charge me for a refill.
The same people that goes, “No such thing as free meal” and “work hard to pay for it” are the same people that rages for a free refill...
I always expect free refills, itll only set the company back like a fraction of a cent
its cheap but not as cheap as people think. People are mixing the cost for production vs the cost franchisees pay
My philosophy on it:
If the soda machine is employee facing, they make the rules.
If it’s self serve, I’m filling my cup whenever I please
Me listening to this while drinking lemonade out of a water cup🤫🤣😭
I’ve got a pretty good hunch Milan has filled a water cup with side before lol, all love Milad!
My anxiety when he cuts the bread 📈📈📈
Idm watching ads for your channel. Your such a wholesome dude lol
In my neighborhood we have to watch the high school kids. They buy one drink, share the cup with friends and they all go for refills, hoping they won't get caught.
Why are you so talented at making sandwiches like i would burn the bread for no reason
I think the concept of this free refill thing is amazing.
Here in Germany (where I live) there is only BurgerKing doing this and only a very few of them not all.
Greetings from a German fan
I like how drinking fountains are always placed next to a water bottle vending machine.
I fill water cups with soda every time
Your videos are relaxing.
Me: Hey Can I Get An Refill
Worker: sir this is ur 22th Refill..
As a European refilling cups is RIDICULOUS!! First of all American cups are simply way bigger throughout literally all sizes - small to large - each individual size is much bigger than ANY European. But i guess it is fine since Americans have private health insurance so you have to pay your own bill when the sugar reaper is gonna take your soul.
Hey dude great video as always and keep up the good work bro 👍🏼!
Subway is my favourite! Hope all is well with you and your loved ones milad! Wishing you and everyone lots of love, light, happiness, safety, good health and mental health 🙏💙❤💚
You always have such good subway stories
Refills are an American thing in the UK this is not general practice there may be rare exceptions if for example it is an American franchise but under our sugar tax laws additional charges are made to the business for full sugar drinks such as Coca Cola, Fanta, sprite. So it makes even less financial sense for them to absorb the costs.
For everybody outside America, it’s crazy you get a free refill. Then you remember that all the soda is watterd down by 60%, so they could actually afford their free Refills. I prefer paying for my quality drink
Australia, if you went to refill your drink you would get the THICCEST "are you gonna pay for that mate"
This guy is just talking but here I am drooling
Wow! The amount of shots fired in such a short video was insane! The refill policy, the freeloaders, the rude consumers, the--
Milad, I am a huge fan, and I'd like to see you step it up a notch. I want to see you throw the cheese slice and have it land in the correct position.
Cuz of milad, I've started to eat subway after 5 years
Where I am from, and I am talking about 10 years ago maybe even more, we used to get one free refill in Subway in my local town. That Subway only lasted maybe a year before it closed. Now any Subway I go to the drinks machines are behind the counter and they fill your drink and hand it to you with your sandwich. No refills.
milad saying " free refills is the most American thing" is the nost American thing EVER
Milad is love, Milad is life
Movie theater: *laughs in 20 dollar refills*
My dad fills the water cup with pop sometimes and I absolutely hate it when he does that.
I love your content
In england you have to sell your house to buy a refill
And here I am in England where subway never offered free refills
I'm from Dubai and didn't ate subway from more than 3 years but watching you make me start eating it again and trying the items you doing.... subway should hire you in marketing
Theme Parks now put chips on the bottom of the cups so the machines don’t give you a refill.
I could watch this guy make subs all day and not get bored
The thing with fast food soft drinks is they're marked up by like 1000x, pretty much the price of that entire day's soft drinks is paid for by 1 large cup
Where I love refills aren't even a thing.
In my country, we need to buy new soda when we finish drinking it
Here in the UK subway refills are free
There was one subway in my city that tried to end it and profits plunged so it reinstated them.
This dude is cracked at making sandwiches
No free refills I unsubed
Fr bro the background gameplay better than the content
If I worked at subway it would take me 20 minutes for 1 sandwich and I would be looking at the manual every 2 seconds 😂
Milad is awsome
Huh huh
