They are definitely two different types of trimmers. Like i would use fx3 for edging but not for removing bulk or against the skin. On the snap trimmer, i can use for edging and removing bulk. Blade on snap Fx is a little softer on the scalp

If it was possible to charge the batteries with usb. That would be crazy. If you owned 6 batteries you can charge them all at once. Instead it’s a big ass base and you can only charge 2 at a time. 6 hour charge time. If you remember to change 2 batteries every 2 hours. If it takes 2 hours to fully charge 2 batteries.
What do you think about trimmer guards ? I have conrows and want to start lining up my own hair is trimmer with a guard all I need to cut the hairs around the braids or should I buy a clipper ?

Question: would any of the Babyliss FX trimmers you’ve featured and compared, trim my face and leave a one day stubble look? I’ve tried 1 mm blades and they don’t get that close. Somewhere between a foil shaver and a trimmer. I am learning from you about the zero blade adjustment, I’m wondering if that would do it. Thanks
hmm which one do you have? and are they adjusted? are the blades crooked? are you heavy or light handed? its not necessarily the blade, but the way they're sitting and hand pressure. there is ONE blade I wouldn't recommend on small kids with super sensitive skin..the fx3 blade unless the user is super aware of the blade set

I have the gold fx3 I believe. I may just get another blade for when I cut his hair. He's 13 so I don't want to scare him
If you have this set up, basically it feels unlimited. As you are using one, there’s a fresh one being charged in the dock for swapping so you never are really without the power you need. Comes with 2 batteries and dock

I have noticed the blades that come with the machines are better then the replacement…I feel like they are a lot thicker any suggestions?

All the blades are interchangeable except the fx3 clipper blade. U can swap any material fade, taper, or wedge blade with snap Fx body

get the gold titanium 2.0 deeptooth blade cuts like the fine tooth blade but smoother

Put a fine tooth graphite blade on your trimmer, zero gap it, and you’ll have that look.

i have a problem on my snapfx clipper, it blinks after 15 minutes even i fully charged them , and it just turns off
May need to swap for a new set. It’s under 2 year warranty. They not suppose to do that.
