I had bad fig rust this year as well. The last month it took out most of the leaves off the brown Turkey.
It’s around that time, some of my leaves fell off still holding. Seemed to help having it in mostly full sun.
Humidity is difficult for many plants.
A high tunnel ( mid tunnel) worth considering.
I bend this spring, but still grow only dominant at the top and few smaller. Did you notch to make them grow all along that branch?
How do you going to prune next year? If keep this way you won’t be able to rich them that high?

I have seen some farmers use whey or LAB serum to control fungus.
In my humbling opinion, the pruning on the second case was too heavy. Removing this amount of leaves is not beneficial.
