I used the Kenworth 963 for this one. Yes it was a challenge, yes it was tricky. But some canny gearbox work and some pro winching to get close enough to the tree at the very top, won the day It was definitely THAT rock outcrop at 1:04:39 that was the enemy here...😏
I shall not say whether this one made me smile...but I'm sure it reminded you of vanilla struggles. :) BTW maybe it would've been faster at the end to just delete that logs and go for a new batch? Loading area wasn't that far away.
I hope it did at least make u smile Edi?! I did think about ditching those logs but they'll just end up staying on the screen reminding me of my failure. 😖🤣
@@MJ.Haggis Made me laugh, not just smile, to be honest. 😃 There should be option to delete cargo when you're near it, so you should be able to completely remove the leftovers from the failure. That's what I did before I learned (from you, I think) that you can repack logs if there's at least 3 left. (Although I find this repacking silly so I generally go and fetch a new batch, unless I'm completely frustrated at that point. 🤪 )
Deleting cargo that is in unlimited supply is a good idea. I see Saber are looking to patch the issue with the Rail Sections should you have restarted that Task. Must be coming out soon 🤞
@@MJ.Haggis Yes, they are not very fast with debugging. However, I'm still in Kola Peninsula, by the time I get to Scandinavia all the bugs will surely be fixed. 😃
well... most of the are crane mods are labelled as 'stronger', So i thought maybe this one had a special trick... like having a longer boom, or able to swap to logs OR cargo, on the fly... @@MJ.Haggis
MJ surely quicker to just go get more logs from log station its far closer than the garage ?? Makes me chuckle though your thought patterns happy to use a mod trailer but not mod truck if going vanilla go all the way or not at all, the mod trucks you use are not OT just more capable then the vanilla ones which is the reason you use the mod trailers
I had thought about it but seeing the logs lying there reminding me of my failure would annoy me. I won't be beaten by an inanimate object! 🤣 As for the vanilla stuff, I do still enjoy using them occasionally and a slight increase in the difficulty can add to feeling of success. Mod trailers I just find more practical and realistic.
welcome to the family James

That was a tough one! So close and yet so far. The 963 is big but it's prob a good choice Stephen 👍🏻
@@MJ.Haggis longer wheelbase for sure
Tight corners are the 963's worst enemy. Most other things it is not an issue.
36:40 no, follow the road, it's a lake, it will loop around!!!
Yup, no shortcuts there! 😖

@edipavic3208 Kola!? The place to give you nightmares! 🤣 Good luck!
13:00 So, what's so special about the Atlas crane?
It looks good as it colour matches the truck and it is meant to be stronger and lighter as well. I'll need to test that though.
was thinking it must be a super extended or something, as others have stronger cranes...@@MJ.Haggis
@gareth14111984 oh? Stronger than the Pog Atlas version?

h14111984 that would de a good trick but I think so far just the colour match is it's unique thing.
I do feel bad laughing at that
Don't feel bad, we've all been there. I just so happen to record it and show my failures to everyone 🤣

@stevewilliams3235 absolutely right Steve 👍🏻
you know i was shouting at my screen for most of this episode...right?
I have no doubts there! 🤣

Thank you Michael 😁👍🏻
