Wow, if Mordred is Morgan Le Fay's son, she has held up nicely! I've just started watching this for the first time...excellent film so far. Thanks for posting.
That makes a lot of sense Bless Brother if I had money to make the film I would come straight to you for knowledge on Merlin . Rev 2 16Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. 17He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it
Oh God, how I miss these kind of films: intelligent, exciting and in contrast to most contemporary Hollywood fare, not dumbed down for a supposedly simplistic audience.
Miklos Rozsa Music, Robert Taylor Actor...This was so great. Why do I go to the Cinema nowadays and watch Wolverine fighting Sabertooth and crap like that?
Florian Sack-Hauchwitz Help you enjoy the Greatness more . Revelations 2 16Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. 17He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it
They don't make films like this any more. So pure, righteous, high moral standards and no obscure "criticism" or oh so fake "difficult" themes. Only stories like Lord of the Rings and Star Wars come close.
Two UFOs were captured on film when the background for this scene was being shot. They can be seen moving from left to right at 3:45, sometimes behind, and sometimes in front of bushes! Try to get hold of this scene in HD if possible KAN 2.20 UK
I can't help but wince when they call Arthur "king of England". England was established by the Anglo-Saxons, who were, in the legends, Arthur's enemies. He was king of BRITAIN. It wouldn't be so bad if they hadn't made a pretense to history at the start by mentioning the Romans. Still, looks like a good film.
I don't believe that knights of yore put on their armour directly after breakfast and then spent the whole day clumping around in 60 lbs of steel. I's suggest that they rarely wore any armour, except when they knew they were going into battle. Ditto the Romans.
@@Slaveknight_gael If you can have a 17th century song, why not 15th century plates and bassinets? Sadly, the chorus is not sung, only this bit: With a host of furious fancies Whereof I am commander, With a burning spear and a horse of air, To the wilderness I wander. By a knight of ghosts and shadows I summoned am to tourney Ten leagues beyond the wide world's end: Methinks it is no journey.
this makes no sense mordred is arthur own son. and should younger then him, and wasnt even born yet when the sword was pulled. also arthur was only a boy when he pulled sword from the stone.
I recommend not letting what you know interfere with your enjoyment of a story. Compromises have to be done for many reasons, not all of them good or inevitable, but it is what it is.
This isn't the full movie. You tube has cut this to a trailer, and if you want to watch this, you have to pay $2.99. I foresee the day when TH-cam has no following to speak of; greedy bastards.
A legend is sung of when England was young….

Merlin, the true inventor of the remote controlled electro-magnet inside an anvil
That makes a lot of sense

Absolutely Agree, when I was a child, this was my favorite medieval movie. 👌🏻

ARGH! Why must it end there? XD
The duel between Arthur and Lancelot just after is one of the best in film history. *sigh* Back to VHS. =)
Oh. And England was named after the Angles, Germanic invaders against whom the legendary Arthur fought.

EIN GROSSARTIGER FILM
@jabroney11 - the movie changed it, I think, where Mordred and Morgan are lovers instead of kin.

Do you believe that the knights of the 6th century wore the 15th century plates and bacinets instead of their mail hauberks and skull helms?

Depends on whose version you cling to
