Hi! Good question, I use the NP-F batteries to power the BMPCC and I personally prefer C-Fast 2.0 cards over using the SSD. It allows me to use the usb-c port for the gimbal instead and it feels more secure. For mounting an SSD onto the BMPCC there are plenty of good cage options out there. If I use power externally I would use a v-mount and use my tilta ring grip. It has the mounting options and it makes the best use of that setup I feel like. Hope that helps a bit.
@@PeterBaerveldt Thank you for the fast answer. Does that mean I can’t use the gimbal / some features because the usb-c is already in use by the ssd? Would it be possible to connect ssd and gimbal together without missing features? And will the gimbal need to get powered externally or would it be enough to leave it in default?
I have so many questions , i just don’t wanna waste your time. I bought the 18-35 sigma f 1.8. Now people say it be a flat lense, not enough focal length. I bought the smallrig t7 /t5 holder. The people telling you it's not enough range.. do they know what you create?
