Another good choice if you want a taller boot is the Bates Rallyforce Tall Side Zip. Not quite as cool as the Rush Mid yet way cooler than the Valsetz. And both Bates boots do not look like they were worn on the moon.

UA makes a pair with leather called the stellar tac........they are equally awesome comfortable lightweight. Good review.

I just ordered a pair,but that version that only reaches the ankle height !😅
Usually I can get away with size 44.5 or 10.5, but reading the reviews, I decided to size up to size 11,or 45!
I hope that shoes will agree with my feet!😅

If I were working indoors at a jail, I would wear the Bates Rush Mid boot. A more conventional looking boot that will keep your feet many times cooler than these Valsetz boots.
