  • Hola!
Hello to our old and Welcome to all our new subscribers.
Here's our 5th Vlog from the recent Goa trip during CoVid.
We tried our bit an explored South Goa, had heard a lot about Jila Bakers and tried some of their yummy chocolate éclairs, priced at only Rs.22 per peice!
Check out their menu online for more info.
    Here's the address-
    JILA BAKERS
Near Our Lady Of Candelaria Church Ambora Bustop To Loutolim Road Ambora, Goa 403718.
After which we visited another famous café- Mon Petite Frère,
The food is great, quality of the food was exceptional. Though the hospitality was poor and below par. The owners seemed disinterested in serving the customers, biased to some (most likely sour towards the tourists) and low key racist too.
The owners or workers/stewards were young and Indian, we were so surprised to be treated rather unpleasantly and we weren't the only ones.
Anyway, the americano was exceptional and priced at Rs.100. The Roast beef sandwich was good as well, priced at Rs.250.
If the food quality was an 80 out of 100, the service and hospitality was a meagre 10!
Anyway, after a good nap we went out for a workout at the Sunset Beach.

See you next week with another Vlog!
    Ciao ❤︎

So the Jila bakers is on the Ponda-Margao mainroad very close to Raia (pronounced as Raya) -- This road towards the North goes to Loutalim (which is a shipyard area) and down South it goes to Margao.
I am still unable to place where is this "HOSTILE CAFE"
You should put the clipping of the inhospitable environment .. let them learn how to treat tourists.

Thank you for the information! It’ll prove to be helpful to all the viewers :) the Café name is Mon Petite Frère. I’m sure they weren’t bad people, though everyone in Goa was extremely hospitable on our trip and we didn’t find a bias anywhere except here (this cafe) they seemed to have with people of colour (assumption based on our experience), though they were Indians themselves!
I hope we were the only case with the bad hospitality because their food was really good- but like we mentioned in the video, one visits a place for everything including ambience, hospitality apart from food. Thank you so much for showing your support, we really appreciate it 😊
