This would have made Austria-Hungary more interested in maritimal expansion, and less interested in appeasing tensions in itself, letting Hungary secede. It could also have colonies (because of it being a maritime power, thus being invited in the Berlin conference about colonisation, which in our timeline didn't happen). And if Hungary seceded, no World War I so no World War II (because no German bitterness about the Versailles Treaty).
But this is just speculation, so don't take it as granted.

Atlantis was a real place but it's either under the sea or under the sands of Sahara. One of the less likely locations was Brasil, a island that existed west of Ireland. All that remains of it is Porcupine Bank. The more likely location is in the Sahara somewhere under the sand. Since when Sahara was green were some of the largest fresh water lakes in the world along with rivers.
Åland held a referendum in 1919 on which country they should belong to, and 95% voted to become a part of Sweden. Finland just said no, and continued to occupy them. Then they took the issue to the League of Nations, and in the only major decision the League ever took, they decided to give Åland to Finland in 1921 without regards to the will of the inhabitants.
It's not like Sweden was ever gonna give over their Finnish-speaking areas to Finland.
Also the 96% percent approval to join Sweden is obviously exaggerated. No referendum was ever held (due to Finland opposing it), but rather names were signed for a petition. There was another movement within Åland that aimed for autonomy within Finland that ended up succeeding.

Honestly I don’t think Italy would have sucked as much on the allies side, because the Italians were stuck in the Mediterranean due to British colonies
If italy maintained its guarantee on austria war would have never broke out, and if it did italy is extremely defensible from germany (british troops thst were sent in africa and greece would have been sent to italy) also americans would have lend leased the italian army to get them better equipment.

@@asinglebraincell6584 That's why I recommended it to Drew. Though I have to damit that I can't see, why he would be afraid of Goyas art. When it comes to portay human brutality, cruelty and stupidity, Beksiński surpasses Goya by far, in my insignificant opinion.
