I don't agree with one point. The two immutable things that verified the promise, cannot be itself the promise. the two things that seal the promise, must be outside of the promise. there are two things that cannot change their nature though. one is YHWH himself. (I am the Lord, I change not). the other is the Word. (forever, o Lord, thy word is settled in Heaven) and if you look at the actual confirmation, where Abraham was put to sleep and, what happened. pillar of smoke AND a pillar of fire walked through the animals.
