Sweet tune! Thank you for having it here! I just shared it with a friend who runs a music school in Virginia and posted a photo or an Irish crossroads sign asking his students what tune it made them think of. The easy answer was "The Road to Lisdoonvarna," but Dublin, Ennistimon and Lehinch were also on the signpost, so I still have one to go!
By the way, when I was lucky enough to spend a summer in Corraun, Co. Mayo, long ago I was especially impressed by a young man named John Hoban who seemed to have a tune for named every village and one or more songs for every town, city or county!

Hi Bob, thank you for the very kind comment. We were just talking to a lady on Sunday who told us that John Hoban is a lovely man. We have yet to meet him ourselves. Many good wishes, from Joe and Adele.

Yup! Got it. Although there are times when I wish the Session had versions with the chords as well. And if any of you are ever in Corpus Christi come stop by one of our sessions. We'd love to play with y'all.

So the music is lovely. I'm searching for traditional music to play and share. Particularly, I appreciate the phots of County Clare since my Great Grandmother came from there and I've never met her or my grandmother (her daughter who was born in 1899 in Brooklyn, NY). I participate in a small bagpipers group - they play bagpipes while I learn and include either the guitar, piano accordion, or penny whistle. It's been a great time since last march of 2018. Though they include Celtic music from the whole region (Scotland, Ireland, England, and Scandinavia) it's been quite an awesome journey. Hoping to start a slow session in my county sometime and/or a small group to play out. Best to you and thank you for sharing!

@@dulahanirl I know this tune from the Irish scene ONLY. So...almost sure, is NOT available in the Scottish scene.Yet...amazing how much material both of the scenes have in common, beit in some cases with different titles.
E.G...Another topper in both of the scenes is the 6/8 Tom Ward's Jig.(also Jimmy Ward does exist)
Alan Watson(Scottish) once wrote to me...."The Irish speak in their music another dialect". Also..the SAME language.
And we are all folks around the North Sea...and the Frisians are the Dutch Scots.I am one of them!Could you find yourself in this?
