@@ShaneWelcher I followed your steps. now I get "Failed to Instantiate HMIServer" message when I try to restore the HMI. Any tips? Thank you for your help

Hey there, so we had to change the name of our HMI Server (Factory Talk Server) We use a network distributed client and went in and updated the name, but after we try to run the client, we get FactoryTalk View SE Client Error "The client temporarily cannot connect to the factorytalk view SE server in teh Home are "/" because the server is not available. Any ideas on that?

Do none of these Backup/Restore options bring in the Communication Shortcut-to-IP controller linkages?
They do on the new distribution archive if you use that

Make sure you are using the latest edited HMI client

If the HMI client doesn't work then edit the HMI client and point it to the correct HMI server name
