Siddharta Joshi, I am over 85 years old an American of Indian/ Hindu heritage living in USA for over 50 years. I enjoy your narration of our precious Hindu heritage. Please do me and others a favor: tell your sponsors to CUT OUT THAT MUSIC when you narrate. It distracts and drowns out your voice. Thanks.
I have been to Kanchipuram twice, but I have visited only three main temples. I am planning a trip to Tamil Nadu early next year. I'll then visit the other temples you have taken us to. I am a mandir and moorti admirer. This will help expand and extend my considerable portfolio of sculptures. thank you
You’ll love the other temples as well. Frankly my list had more places that I couldn’t cover. I’ve included the Google maps list in the description and you can use that as reference. Have a good trip there :)
@@SiddharthaJoshiFilms One life is not at all sufficient to cover even any one state of India. Talking to locals gives lots of input to what one should explore. One such interaction more than 30 years ago gave us a new hill station to explore 'Yercaud'. Not many people outside Tamil Nadu know it still. The first time I visited it was really very raw, but after 25 years a few more advances were visible, like the presence of a petrol pump, and milk availability in the evening. Another interaction with the autorickshaw driver gave us a beautiful boating experience. Mavinkurve in Karnataka, near Honnavar. By road apparently, you have to travel around 20 km but by a rowing boat several minutes and a short distance. I visited twice. The first time was glorious. During boating we got to see a train running across a bridge over the Konkan railway.
ahhhhh .... saw whole kanchipuram in this vedio quality ofc exceptional. spent the best 30 mins of my day watching this . may kamkashi bless to make more such vedios
Thank you so much! You are right most believe that he took samadhi in the Himalayas, but that’s not how it is in Kanchipuram. They believe that he took samadhi at the temple. Shankara’s timeline is also quite different at Kanchi…
Beautiful video! Most of the times one visit to such places is not enough, everytime we discover something different about these places. They have their own soul. Thank you Sidhartha for taking us on this visually pleasing soulful journey ( Saptapuri).
Bro this is the best video on kanchipuram i have seen. The explanation, visuals, shots and the music you have done is great. Thanks for making the video so nice 👍
Top notch video quality, PS your narration and articulation explaining the temple or the city's history/ culture was brilliant. Looking forward to your other videos and hoping you would be covering more of these temple towns that are very prevalent in the south of our beautiful country.
Thank you so much for the lovely words! And yes I do have plans to cover many more temples towns in South India and cover their stories. This is a very special subject area for me also 🙌

Thank you Siddhartha. Very informative and nicely done. So many thanks from Aasthikas for making such a wonderful video ! May Ambal Kamakshi, Lord Ekambareswara and Lord Varatha bless you and everyone involved in creating this! One more point you can add - in the wall of Sri Kamakshi, resides Vishnu, her Borother to support his sister's efforts in marrying Ekambareswara. It is also 1 of the 108 Divya desam ..

Your videos and narration remind me a 90’s TV programme in Doordarshan called “Surabhi”. Especially when you present the details about the authentic food. Kudos to Naveen and Shankar. जैसे पहले कहा था, हिन्दी तो आपकी लाजवाब है. However, Tamil words may require some polish. Perumal is actually pronounced as perumāl or perumaal (true meaning deity but often referred to lord Vishnu if I am not wrong). We don’t have the different kind of letter ‘L’ in hindi or English alphabet I guess. Similar is Alwar. The sacred pond in South Indian temples is called as pushkarini or kalyaani. I hope you don’t mind getting corrected. Lastly, Yet to cover all your sapta puri episodes. Thanks 🙏😊
