I bought one of these thinking i was setting up a nuvo 15g. But, i ended up getting a red sea reefer 250 lol. 55 gallon display, 35.5 long, 21 in deep, 20 wide. Do you think two of these would be sufficient on that tank for a mixed reef? Lps and softies in bottom and sps in top half?
Can I tune it down to less then 10 percent maybe for a 12 inch deep frag tank? I have the pro11 and love them so wanted to go noopsyche again! I read on webpage about having great penetration though so might not be the light for me:(
You can set the intensity to whatever you want. I run them in this tank (IM 15G) at 35% blue, 25% UV and 5% white and get about 250-280 PAR just above the surface of the water. I did see in another comment you mentioned running two of them on one tank. You can do that, but keep in mind unlike the K7 Pro III you can't link them, so each light will need to be adjusted individually. Setup for a custom time plan is a bit of a pain, but generally once you get them set you won't touch them so not a huge deal. My only other negative with this light is that no matter how hard I tried, I could not get it to connect to WiFi so I'm limited to having to connect to the light itself with my phone to adjust it. None of these are deal breakers for me considering what you get for the price, but just understand you're getting a wonderful light with so-so software.
I was looking at the exact same light and aquarium. Thank you, this will help a lot.
Glad I was able to help! I'll be testing the Radion XR15 Gen 5 Pro next.
very good video very good light
Still recomen or anything better now for the pricing?
Thanks, you helped me choose this light :)
Glad i was able to help. Thanks for watching!

For the Red Sea 250 I would recommend the bigger brother Noopsyche K7 Pro 3

So is this the best budget reef light? I’m cycling my first 15g iM AIO & I can’t decide between this or 50watt nicrew or aquaknight 029
This is indeed the best budget light in my opinion
Should have turned your flow off so the shimmer doesnt make the par numbers jump like that
Where u you buy? Can’t find on Amazon
I bought mine on their website , took 2 weeks to be delivered noopsychereeflight.com/products/k7mini
