This film shows the importance of documenting family visits and occasions. We never know what tomorrow will bring. Barack never knew at this point that he will be the President of the United States in 2008.

The amazing thing is that there's no difference between young Barak and President Obama. His voice is still the same till today. Quite amazing.
He does have a most delightful voice. He's also managed to maintain his wonderful, slender physique.
For me what stands out is the humility. I visited Auma's house that year, I can't remember if I met him that day, there were a few people in the house and I was feeling shy, I just remember drinking my tea and then scuttling out of the door.
This makes me believe the person character, is the ones which determine how far a person can go or become, I can see even from Donald trump's character haven't changed,was the same even on his 20's years. That why it is important to have a certain way of life which you can stick to it no matter the situation, that unwavering character or personality can take you places you are destined to. Barack's mother, Dr Stanley Ann Durham was a teenage mother but she did such a brilliant job of raising Barack. He used to say the best of him was his mother. She was an intelligent, hardworking, wise, humble, driven, focused, kind soul.

Then Gadhafi turned on dissenting voices with unparalleled state violence and US sided with the dissidents, and for a good reason. Gadhafi had been implicated in several terrorist activities the worst of which was the Lockerbie plane bombing. The actual killing if Gadhafi was done by Libyans themselves engaged in sectarian violence.

The capacity, the determination in this guy is Unbelievable. To confront your 'backward' past, run into all the negative energy; (like in dreams from my Father) "oh your father was jinxed/hexed etc", still manage to come out, salvage the family name and leave it forever etched in our minds is EPIC. Obama Snr sired him but I think Barack was lucky to be born of an extremely humane and liberal mother, allowing him to confront a past that could have easily swallowed him.
