The level of talent they have is breathtaking. So many of their songs you get swept up and find yourself thinking deep thoughts about your very existence. The vocals! It is absolutely unfair how rich, full and powerful their vocals are. To anyone that hears them it shouldn't be that great of a mystery to see how they got to where they are. They're amazing.

Your Eyes Tell is the OST (Original Sound Track) to a japanese film about a troubled young man who is saved by and falls in love with a slightly older woman. She's blind and along the way he finds out that he was a part of the accident that caused her her sight. He tries to rectify his past and save her future by making some selfless but stupid(?) choices.....
It was originally a project JK was working on as a solo song of his but when Bang PD was contacted about possibly making an OST for the film he recommended they use this song and it was reworked into a group song. (In japanese, don't know if you noticed that? 😉)

Your Eyes Tell was written by Jungkook alongside three other writers. Originally Jungkook planned it as song for his mixtape, but ultimately it was submitted (along with a few other demos) as potential OST for a Japanese movie of the same title. The movie director chose the song based on how the melody and style fit with the movie and after reading the movie script, Jungkook co-wrote the lyrics and even co-produced the song.
The members really like Your Eyes Tell, and ARMY also immediately fell in love with it though it’s a rather sad song.

i totally understand you, it´s hard to describe how you feel when you are hit with BTS songs. it´s on a whole different level and so unique and it makes you feel certain ways.
i remember my first song, i was blown away just by the song Idol and that was before i did a deep dive and found gems like this song and truth untold and many others. they dont have a bad song litterally and every song is different.

I am enjoying your reactions but I wish you would consider letting the member who is singing finish his line before you pause the video. Maybe pause between the lines instead of right in the middle. It feels like it disrupts the impact of the verse, even if you go back 10 seconds. Just my opinion though. This is one of my favorite BTS songs. Everyone’s voice is so powerful in his own unique way.
