- In today’s video, I traveled to Stanley, ND to interview fellow coin shop owner and friend, Skip! We discuss current metals markets, customer sentiment about the banks, bartering and more! Skip also shows us an amazing selection of numismatic silver coins that you won’t want to miss! We had such a fun time I had to split this video into two parts!
If you missed out on my first two interviews with Skip, you can watch them here!

I certainly can't speak for everyone but I suspect that there are several reasons most folks want coins that are what some would consider an obvious grade certified. Many folks have some level of difficulty telling if a coin is cleaned or altered in any way (tooled, smoothed or what have you). I've missed some of these myself at times. Also, most folks just can't grade coins themselves anymore. Possibly because the grading is done for them, so this may be a self perpetuating issue. Anyway I loved the interview. Thank you!
a true coin shop , not just a bullion exchange. Great shop with beautiful inventory . thanks for the wonderful video.
Glad you enjoyed it

Awesome coins! I love his North Dakota accent too! It reminds me of my family’s own Northern Iowa accent. Hehe
Can't wait for part 2, you and Skip did a great job. Really interesting coin details. Thanks Josh!
More to come!
This guy is the Real Deal!!!!!!
I bought many items at Estate Sales....and the 10 French Franc from D-Day 1944......very interesting..... I have a similar 5 French Franc bill....made up to give to Allies Troops landing in France.....Mine has "D-Day +1 w/ 82nd A/B" and the Morse Code dots and dash for V, Victory on it.....
Skip is the Next Star ‼️👍🏽

I want that Bay Bridge Half dollar coin 🙏🏽
Lit up for pride month
I hope I can visit the USA, they have fascinating coin shops, I don’t know why they are stubborn about buying online when it’s in the places where you learn the most.
Thank you for sharing the video
Howdy! Looking forward to it!
$4400 coin is pretty special to me
I haven't trusted our government since i was in the 4th grade back in 1968 when i saved my first penny. a 1968 D and to which i still have to this day.. its just like new. I put it in one of them coin holders about 20 years ago, but its my favorite penny i ever have saved. Even better than my twin date 1909's.
That is gorgeous
Enjoyed watching your video!
Thank you!
Gday mate
Fantastic stream.
Thanks for sharing appreciate it
Thanks for watching!
I am 🇮🇳 you fan
👍👌
I'm from Normandy and I wonder if that little "Roen" word on the banknote with a french flag he showed isn't a mis-spelling of my home town of "Rouen" !
What’s the deal with grading coins, sometimes I see what looks like a perfect coin and the people say no it’s not worth sending it in for grading, then I see a bunch of coins that look banged up get like a high ms grade! There must be something I’m missing about the way they grade coins!
Yeah I don't know about his grading cause I am certain of is that coin grading is subjective!!
I want the Zippo token. tell me it is available.
You will have to contact Skip on Monday. I’m out of town on vacation.
@@minotcoinbullion I called. Does he have a website?
I think the 9999 vs 999 is way off. American gold eagles are 22 karat not even close to 999. However they do contain 1 toz of pure gold. Please add a note to the video.
I personally do not care about the difference 22 karat vs 9999. What I do care about is the premium over spot, which hurts the eagle.
OMG I love the mexico coins and most south american coins.
Love the tokens and half dollars.
I understood the 3 nines (1980-1981 and part of 1982) and 4 nines (part of 1982 and newer) reference pertaining to the gold Maples which he pointed out is popular in our area.
@@minotcoinbullion got it
No way I am buying an ungraded coin for $4,400.
Personally I think the banner at the bottom the whole time is distracting and unnecessary.
