4:00 Instead of quoting Wilson predicting weaker earnings on H2, you could have quoted him predicting not so great earnings on Q2, as you noticed they were actually "excellent". Speaking of which, Wilson being consistently wrong, you can bet H2 earnings will be "excellent" as well.

When considering a rate cut, do you do so when:
      A) PCE is above 3%, unemployment is below 5%, and it's a bull market
      B) PCE is below 2%, unemployment is above 5%, or it's a bear market
      C) A duck
Needless to say, I'm losing money today (and likely tomorrow)
      ----
I think it's fair to ask, does this market look like one that needs Fed stimulus? Does any element of the economy look like monetary stimulus is needed? I'm asking myself, while I lose money, what would a "hawkish cut" look like were one to happen in September. I'm also asking myself, while I lose money, what will Jackson Hole speech sound like?

@@noremacmadayou make good points, the problem with Wilson if you followed him for the last 3 years.. he was spot on in 2021 but he has totally missed the market in 22,23 and so far in 24. He has turned into a perma bear. I find Tom Lee to be more accurate. His advise is why I am way up today.

never and he does not have to be. I try to understand his reasoning. So far there is nothing that is alarming that I would change my course of staying with my asset allocation 70/30 and stocks in major etf. Jumping in and out and switching is timing and no one is good. Either you exited too early or miss completely. If you have money to add then keep investing 70/30 monthly and perhaps rebalance when equity is too high or too low above 80 or below 40. Things will sort it out. Market always talking stocks too high and even if you know it is the problem is no one is sure the timing. Good example is Greenspan saying equities too high but given up then market collapse! Many smart monkeys but stupid is what stupid does which is follow the smart money.
