Wow! Some big changes since you were here last. I hope you know how much we appreciate you taking the time to go up there and film these updates for us. You're doing a great job, and I know you are probably tired of me telling you this over and over, but, I hope you are keeping all your videos of this thing. It will be coming down eventually and you have more film of "The Ridge" than anybody, so hold on to them. Thanks again for your updates, Take Care, Stay Safe, Be Well, Mac from Georgia
Thanks, Cindy, for the update - nice to see ya again! There seems to be more breakup going on all over the Ridge now, like forces are pushing up onto the surface, fragmenting more and more bedrock. Those vertical gullies down above Thorp Rd look scary - wouldn't want to be there during a thunderstorm!
Thank You for your ongoing dedication to tracking the ridge situation. Much appreciated. I really wish some scientists would study this well documented event and explain in detail the dynamics of what is going in here. Fascinating stuff. .
yay ty for making update videos on this, I am very interested in the ridge as I love studying geology. Dont feel bad if you don't post for a long time, any updates are appreciated thank you
Yay, Slime Bucket thank you! Is this your first time watching? I haven't seen your user, which I like- A lot. 😁 Thanks for watching and commenting, be sure to subscribe and hit the notification bell.
I am amazed that this all hasn't come crashing down yet. Hi Cindy. It's good to hear from you again. We can definitely see a difference in this slide just since your last report. Thank you again for your time in bringing us the latest update.
Hi Cindy!!! Hi Bill!!! 😀 i was just thinking about you the other day wondering when you'd post an update...glad to see you back!!! The ridge continues to crumble...most noted is the collapse at the base of the main fissure and the SW corner having filled in w rock falls. Serious bulldozer effect going on w the slide collapsing into the main fissure as noted by the buldge at the top and at the SW corner. Also noted the crack going up the mountain has separated more and theres more seperation in the lower cracks above the quarry. Would have figured this would have let go by now...but NOPE! Thats some serious super glue holding it up there LOL! Good to see you back here...spring preps are going on here too on the east coast...figuring out where to put my garden 😊
Thank you for p[osting this. It was a super great video and shows a a nice bit of stratigraphy at 3:20 . If you asked me several years ago how this would progress, I'd have had an entirely different guess. You have created a landmark geology record that would make a great documentary.
Hi Cindy thanks for your filming of the ridge in the early part of your filming on the west side in the top left is that more of the ridge breaking away and making this a bigger slide and in the later part of your filming on the south side can you tell me if the silos in the quarry have been removed or have they been knocked down by the slide because I see theres been alot of movement from the ridge, and one last question have you lost a few pounds your looking slimmer Cindy, (your looking good) thanks for the films on rattlesnake ridge it's very intresting to see over the time span I've been following you 2 years I think??.
Hello Michael! Thank you for the ongoing support and interest! It does look like it is definitely expanding and crumbling. I noticed the silos are not there, I am waiting for more information. As for me? Yes, you are correct, I am working on myself and am ecstatic that you noticed! Xoxo
Wow.! Ty for the new pics, updates. It looks like a lot of movement. I hope to see this in person, sometime soon this year. I have a nice camcorder that does excellent zoom. If I get to see this, soon, I will take up close pics for u, and tag u on Facebook soon. Miss ur updates. I am not familiar with this area.
I am not familiar with this area. I hope I can find this area. I am planing to make it sometime this spring. In will get pics, close up for u, than tag u on Facebook. I won't forget.
Have you ever spoken to anyone who worked at the quarry? Were there any clues about this happening before the ground started cracking? I'd like to see an interview like this and get their input on what was going on at the quarry. Were they mining hard rock (basalt) or some kind of volcanicalstic - fluvial - lake sequence? At 10:52 you show good view looking towards top of hill and scarp. There is a vertical contact between 2 different types of rock or a rock - sediment contact. What is the exact nature of this contact? Is the lower half of the hill all sediment or semi-consolidated seds?
@@EZCProductions I wouldn't miss it. I was away from TH-cam for a couple of months... gaming. I was delighted to find an update from you on rattlesnake ridge. Washington is a beautiful state and it grieves me to see the ridge chewed up by quarrying. The weather and any quakes will only aid in expediting a slide. I often think about the folks living there and send kind thoughts for their safety.
Hi Cindy and thank's for fine video. Take care.
wow moved a lot thank you for update great video

Hi John, thanks for watching and your observations, much appreciated!
Thanks for catching us up on the Ridge.

Hello Faith, thanks for watching and commenting!
There are indeed several Universities watching this as well!

Thanks for the update! It's interesting to see the progression.

Hi, thank you Jack, this indeed has been a journey.
Slowly crumbling.......thanks Cyndi! I’ve been wondering. 😊

Thanks for the post. A while in human time but not so much in geology time.
Hi Douglas, 😁 thanks for your ongoing support and interest, M A R V E L O U S!
It's been a while but I'm think I see a bunch of smaller stress fractures that were not there before.
Hi blipco5, yep. A smaller landslide looks to have developed below the West face as well. Thanks for your ongoing interest!
EZ C Productions ...Thanks for filming it. 👍
It looks like they took the mining equipment out?
I noticed that as well, the silos have been removed, right?
Thank for your ongoing support and interest!
If this were on the coast.. can you imagine the Tsunami it could cause?
Wow this slide is like a slow cooked stew.I think i will be a grandpa before it lets go.
😁😜 You and I both!
Looks like a big dry crumbly biscuit.
Hi, Use This, thank you for the ongoing interest and support!

Des débutants seraient incapables de faire une vidéo aussi médiocre....mais comment se débrouille- t -elle?
