usual comment,... I thought that the willow trees planted along the stream came from Hangzhou's West Lake in China. But when I asked the municipal government office they said this is just a legend. Did you visit the literature museum? It's not English language friendly but very interesting to see some of the famous authors and poets who loved Kinosaki.
@@cheesemantravel I want to go back in Winter because the local seafood like buri (I am sorry, I do not know how to translate) and matsubagani (snow crab) are in season. The fish put on a little extra fat because of the colder water so they are especially yummy ! Traditionally, you are supposed to worship at Onsen-ji before bathing but I don't think anyone does it these days.

@@towada1066 鰤(ぶり) is yellowtail (or japanese amberjack). I looked it up online.
@@cheesemantravel ah! that is what it is! .... buri is in my top five list of yummy fish! sushi is boring but buri is ultimate heaven to me ! (^_^)
@@towada1066Im not sure if I ever tried it. Do you eat it raw like sashimi or cooked? Is it better than 中トロ and 大トロ?
