The first Tommy video I ever saw? Well, depends on how you count in my case. The video that made me discover Tommy, and later on subscribe to his channel, was 'Oh Helga Natt'. But a long time before that I had seen a video of a guy with A-M-A-Z-I-N-G vocals singing Abbas 'Money Money Money'. And that HAIR... Just wow! Foolishly I didn't press "like" at the video, because at the time I thought the Abba-song was a bit cheesy. But I remembered thinking "That guy could go very far in his musical career! He is pure talent!" And later on I sometimes thought of the guy: wondering if he was still in music, had he gotten any recognition? But it was Tommy. I should have known! A video I did press "like" on before I "discovered" Tommy was a Golden Resurrection (Tommys former band) video where he played guitar. His picture is in the thumbnail, so I was surprised to see a picture of Tommy pop up when I was scrolling through my list of "likes" I made years ago! So there you have it! Three alternative "first times" I discovered Tommy!
The first Tommy video I saw was Winner Takes It All, because I'm obsessed with that song, and periodically search for covers of it. After seeing very few really good covers of it, I was skeptical but watched Tommy's, and have been obsessed with him since. My big 4 are Tommy, Home Free (phenomenal acapella band), Unlucky Morpheus (Japanese metal band with amazing talent and unique vocals), and Galneryus (Japanese metal band, lots of neoclassical influence, and the only guitarist I've seen who might be better than Tommy...might 😀). Tommy continued my migration to metal which started a few years ago with Sonata Arctica.
Nice reaction to this decent cover of this great Helloween song. For an EPIC cover, check out the covers by Dan Vasc - one by himself, the other with Tim Hanson, son of Kai Hanson himself (Helloween's lead singer), playing guitar for him. Both are so much better than this acceptable version.
Poor Wolfman, only gets 1 cheese stick to eat. I can't do this suffering to myself. He always looks totally starved. Suesue just doesn't care enough about him 😄
The video itself is a great cover of the great song's original video, just watch it and you'll get it 😁 Then watch the same song from the Pumpkins United Alive tour and album. Then may be the whole show. Also from the start I noticed that these guys obviously deliberately made themselves look like some other great rock stars of the same time ;) Just wonder about the one with the Puma, it's not so obvious who does he represent, but I guess it might be someone from Pantera 🤣🍻 Cheers from Bulgaria!
I believe it's a balalaika. It was quite popular for a while to try out in Sweden . There was even whole balalaika orchestras a short time. Even if the video is old and low budget, the talent is undeniable.

Hope you get your snow cones. If you want to try my favorite flavor, it’s lime, vanilla and spearmint. I call it Elvis (LVS), because it’s smooth and cool, like Elvis. (I’ll reimburse you if you wanna try it.) I could be wrong, but if that triangle instrument had 3 strings, it might be a balalaika. Zithers don’t have necks, do they? I have been known wheeze-laugh, when I get really tickled too, Wolfman.
I'm just gonna be honest with you because you and I are friends....that snowcone flavor sounds, well, gross. What's wrong with you, man? How could you disrespect a snowcone that way?😂 I bet you go to a lot of baseball games and snowcones are readily available?
@@SueSueandthewolfman 😂 to answer your question, there are lots of things wrong with me. But I don’t consider the Elvis snow cone to be one 😉. Don’t knock it till you try it, they say. It kinda tastes like those round, green and white candies that some Mexican restaurants have as after dinner mints. It has to be spearmint though. It IS gross with peppermint. I’ve had a few ballpark snow cones, but tend to mainly go with hot dogs and peanuts in the shell there. Speaking of ballparks… I’ve not been to Arvest Ballpark in Springdale where the Naturals play. Maybe I can use that as an excuse to get up that way someday.
I don't think Tommy was dressed as Meatloaf, since he doesn't particularly like that comparison, just a 90s pirate shirt! Young guys looked like they had fun doing this! I didn't know Dulcimer and Zither were different things? Or just very small differences.
