Area 3 really jump a lot in term of difficulty than area 2. Currently, i force myself to reach 3-9 and its really hard to brute force with level 40. I recommend you to get level 45 first. Since level 45 you will unlock another total cost and make it to 10. Also, its depend on your units rank too and enchancements. Update : I'm currently at area 3-12 and its really hard. But not because of the levels. But more like enchancement and unit rating i guess? Well otherwise, no video today since i tried to find strategy that 'consistent'. Because the RNG, you probably can't win even using exact same team and enchancement. But, within 10 retry, if atleast i got 5+ win, then i will count it as success even if it isn't full stars.

The easiest way to pass this is just play some of the stage and then until you can't pass the stage, then take a break. Then 3-5 hours later,, comeback to claim the afk reward and then break again. Repeat until your level is above recommend level. Well the afk income is still depend on how much stage that you already passed.
This might the first ever HI3 game version where I hate BOTH events. I 100%ed A Fool's Hand but lost way more matches than I should have to win that badge because I kept being dealt shitty hands. But holy fuck, this event is a hundred times worse. Takes what should be a purely skilled based event and throws in so many luck-dependant factors that it becomes a circus. I can tolerate the order in which you get cards being random and upgrading your cards is okay, but why do we need card levels at all? With how many cards there are, you would think they'd be able to make enough combinations that you could have dozens of different matches without the need to artificially buff enemies with levels. And also, why the fuck is the whole "secret skills" thing even a thing? You have to burn through dozens of those just to find one that makes a different and you better pray that you're rolling on a strong character. Like, I got a 24% damage amplifier one but it's on that Immortal Blade guard soldier, a unit that's borderline worthless. I know I'm taking this event too seriously, but I somehow managed to break into chapter 3 (currently stuck on the third stage, 3-3) and I also reached 12th place on the leaderboards in Ascencion Trial, so I wanted to press on a little further to break into the top 10, but I can't get past stage 24 and now I've dropped from 12th to 25th. Nothing fucking works. NOTHING. And the funniest part is that I got so far WITHOUT looking up any guides and with FAR worse cards than the ones shown in this video. I guess it's a miracle I got here so early to begin with. But if that's the case and you're NOT supposed to push like crazy... why do they LET you do that and why do they put on a leaderboard for those who reach the highest level (who are the ones who got extremely lucky with their card pulls and secret skills anyway)? The way this event is structured makes no fucking sense. TL;DR: This shit is so ass.

Don’t know why you care that much about the leaderboard when it gives you nothing. Most events are time-gate and in this latest one, it is level-gate (basically time-gate but you can push through harder ones). Just take your time lmao

And if you get this far, wouldn't you want to keep your spot? Some people are competitive like that. Plus I like to be done with new events as soon as I can. But seriously, the leaderboards are the least of my problem with this event. Having the power of characters be tied to a level (that you have to wait for to passively increase) and having RNG secret skills that can make or break a match is what really gets on my nerves about this event. Edit: Oh, and something I forgot to mention about the leaderboards-while the leaderboards themselves have no impact on the rest of the game, beating every third stage in Ascension also gives you more cards that you can use in the story stages. So there's also that.

What is your levels? I suggest try to level it up. No need to rush it. it can also because you have different rank units than mine and maybe different enchancements. But, if you struggle, you can take a break and wait for the afk stuff to increase your levels or wait for the gacha ticket to reset in shop
