Amazingly good. The emotional impact cut right into my heart and soulful soul. Usually I don’t like runs but these were so heartfelt and emotionally impactful that my heart welcomed them.

I'm used to how Dimash hits crazy notes, how he switches from one voice to another but I will never get used to the way he puts every piece of his soul in every song he sings!
Thank you for this nice reaction and analysis! It was surprising that you like this performance of Daryl and gave lots of good commentaries. I actually had a preconceived idea that you won't like this. Based from your previous reactions to him, I concluded that you both don't like so much runs. I imagined you commenting that Daryl's overdid the runs as this cover is full of crazy runs, and twist & turns, showing lots of his techniques and musicalities. Thank you so much for appreciating Daryl's talent. It surely compensates all the hardwork he put to make this cover possible.

Amen, Rearanging music and editing is not easy. Idk if Daryl Ong did the editing on this but am sure he did the arrangement, not easy.

It took me the longest time to watch this reaction because I was afraid Daryl would be shredded. I had seen the original video and, although I'm not so crazy over runs - makes me motion sick sometimes - and Daryl does overdo it sometimes, I LOVED what he did here. He is a beast in vocal arrangement and the background was masterfully done. I loved the outlier notes, although one or two fell off the cliff :) So....when I finally decided to watch this reaction yesterday, I was bracing myself for what Marco would say about the looooong video and the runs. I wasn't dissapointed; the objective assessment here is the BEST review so far. To be complimented ( and be criticized) by Marco and Ali is good because they don't BS. Thanks, guys! I hope you can go back to doing reactions of Filipino artists soon.

To be honest when Daryl Ong has new video, I am always looking forward for these guys to make a reaction! Their reaction are so genuine that they dont care what other people (fans) might say. The problem with us pinoy's is that we dont accept a negative comment/s even if it will actually help us to improve. We always buttcry as if they attacked our idols when in fact, they are just giving a reaction, analysis and knowledge for us, for future use. Constructive critisisms is much much muuuuuuch way better than a sugar-coated-reaction! Thats all. Merry christmas everyone! 😙❤

I was so afraid to watch this reaction coz i thought you would shoot it down! Two points that you mentioned before that you weren’t crazy about: “too much” runs or super long videos. I remember when you reviewed Daryl’s rendition of Thinking Out Loud you said his riffs and runs were “too much”. This video here is no different but yet you both loved it this time around. I’m not really sure why the change of heart maybe you can explain it here but I’m just glad you didn’t go down that road. Daryl is the brilliant king of riffs and runs hands down! Re B2M criticizing this: I think Daryl will take whatever the critique will be - bad or good. Hey, it's B2M. How many artists have made covers of their songs and this one gets noticed? That would be huge! Wishful thinking. But who knows?

Actually, the 'off notes' being detected are a silver lining. That's proof that autotune wasn't used - for those who confuse autotune with reverb. :P

I watched Daryl’s video soon after it dropped, and one of my first thoughts was, please.. no one ask MAProductions to react to this! Like a few others who commented here, I was afraid of the criticism for Daryl’s numerous and long runs. When I clicked on this reaction video, I pressed pause to first read the comments. It was only after reading a few positive comments that I pressed play. Hehe

There's nothing wrong with asking, as you said. I was just curious why you're asking where he's from. And there are a lot of YT users, like me, who keep their settings private and use their channel only to enable them to make comments on videos, not necessarily to upload videos.
