Hi Sir I am having issues I followed the same steps but after the step 3 I synced the gradle build and there was error "Gradle Project Sync failed, Basic functionality will not work properly."

i got stucked at 2:19 in gradle. My andriod studio does not have all these thing under app

To fix this, click File->Settings (Ctrl-alt-s)->Experimental(bottom) and deselect "Do not build Gradle task list during Gradle sync". Then click OK. Finally, click File->Sync Project With Gradle Files. After all of this, the task list should appear in your Gradle tab.

Why i dont have buildscript{} and allprojects {} on project gradle.build .
And always error when i copy paste

Click on the "View" menu in Android Studio.
Choose "Tool Windows" and then "Gradle" from the dropdown.
Alternatively, press "Alt + 1" to toggle the Project view, and you should see Gradle on the right side.
If the issue persists, check if Gradle is properly configured in your project's build.gradle files. You may need to sync the project with Gradle by clicking the "Sync Now" button that appears in the bar at the top. If you're still facing issues, consider restarting Android Studio.
Is it safe to share a google service json file on a shared repository?
No, don't share the google-services. json file. AFAIK it contains secret information, so don't share it. They can create their own for development purposes.

My application is throwing error (an internal error has occured [Configuration not found]). After applying your solution app still throwing same error. So , please help me.
Check your project's settings.gradle for any incorrect or missing configurations.

After doing all this things after rebuilding the application, the auto generated files like resources files containing default string had not been generating, because of that I can't able to connect my app for Google sign in. This is happening after android studio new version. If someone facing the same please help me to find solution.
Ensure your project's res folder and values subfolder are intact, containing necessary XML files.
Double-check your gradle.properties file for any misconfigurations and that your dependencies are correctly specified.
If issues persist, consider checking for updates or downgrading Android Studio versions to a stable build that doesn't encounter these auto-generation problems.

my project is not working
I had made a project from android studio and it was working fine but then I change my laptop and then I compiled the project from the new laptop and new android studio it is not working and i am using fire base firestore for storing the registeration details but it wont work now
what to do somebody help please..?

File google-services.json is missing. The Google Services Plugin cannot function without it.
how to slove this
