Not to be a hater, but this game kinda has the same vibe to me as one of those $1 asset flip games. The wording on the reminder text combined with the weird name makes it feel like souls borne AltF4 Edit: I bought the game and am 22 hours in, it's very good! I've changed, and grown as a person

Like isnt the whole point of all of them that they have a very constrained set of mechanics that none of them really deviate from? Which means youre basically just buying a new aesthetic. This game seems very aesthetically shallow so far.
Kind of feels a bit harsh to me. Maybe it doesn't really come through in videos but it's a game that has clearly had a lot of work put into it. Unfortunately UI design in general is a lost art even in AAA games, let alone AA ones.

the souls games are actually fairly different from eachother, bloodborne is all about moving fast and dodging/parrying every attack, darksouls is all about being a heavy knight and barreling through enemies like a tank, sekiro's basically a rhythm game where you can only deal with enemies through a unique parry system, and elden ring takes elements from them all to make the possibilities for builds feel endless.@@feelingveryattackedrn5750
