There is so much to marvel at - so many windows, so many fences, all the billboards, all the stone walls and buildings. Many of the buildings were built as dioramas and added into the layout and I am amazed at how he did that. For example, Baxters Building Supply at 3:24. In the instructions for the kit he mentioned that he sawed out a hole while someone else held a vacuum cleaner. It is so seemlessly integrated. Thanks for posting, this was a well done video.
9/14/2023 This is the first slide show of George's model I watched all the way through. Very nice job. One view is of the siding of the grocery distributer. Many years ago "Model Railroad Craftsman (early 1970's) showed a view down that same siding. There are a couple of guys playing checkers, or cards on the loading dock. It was one of the first scenes (of detail) I ever saw of F&SM. Many of the structures on the model were made into kits, I built several, (the 2 stall engine house was first) I have fun trying to find the "kit" prototypes on the model (they're never just like the kit) Once again, great slide show. ;-)
What an inspiration to us modelers for our own little 🌎worlds. 95% of us don't have the time to accomplish a layout of this magnitude, but really shows that it can be done. You can incorporate a couple of ideas and it will be a compliment to George and his artistic talents. They say "The devils in the details"...THIS is what they're talking about!! I Love the music you have chosen. Who is this?
George is a master craftsman👏👏👏👍👍👍
It never gets tiresome.Thank you!😊

So realistic and immersive. You can yourself imagine living in, and being a part of those scenes.
