I have had more success with the Zinc Hard Rubber Bushing for the Club Car DS they last about 5-8 years just FYI great video by the way so many people have this issue and never consider friction and cheap plastic covering the bearings

What would the golf cart be doing for me to know if my bushings need to be replaced?

Typically, when navigating turns, bumps, drainage swales, or speed bumps, going from forward to reverse whilst turning, semi-hard braking, or any combination of these actions while turning at high OR low speeds, you would hear scraping, squelching, clanking or similar noises that would be hard to miss. BUT, simply look at your suspension, in the rear it is very easy to tell by looking at leaf spring ends, they attach to shackle bolts to the frame, if the bolt going thru the spring end isnt enshrouded by rubber and is riding metal on metal, you need new bushings, you may always send a picture via text msg to 239 465 6871 and I will verify for you and also sell and ship you the correct bushings, not lousy cheap ebay bushings you will have to replace every 6 months.

Every 2 years ?? You must like to sell bushings/service. Since I was replacing a bad wheel bearing on my 2011 Precedent, used EVERY day on our farm, I took your advice and ordered a bushing kit as well. 11 year old cart, used EVERY day under fairly rough conditions, and the old bushings had virtually no wear or slop in them. Certainly weren't falling apart like those you show. I put all new in.....but won't even look at them again for 10 years.

Ed, Please consider My company is in FLORIDA, here its hot, VERY HOT, and moist, VERY MOIST, PLUS various corrosive chemicals are used on golf courses here, this leads to a much faster depletion of the bushing then on your farm, BUT im also certain that your not driving 20 to 30 miles per day on your farm like most of my customers do on the course THEN later in the evening when they want to visit friends elsewhere in the community or errands...etc (yes thats a true estimate, some courses here in South West Florida are miles and mile big, so yeah 20 to 30 miles daily)....So ...Ed....thank you for your input however perhaps youve not considered CRITICALLY that which you have said...and to paint me into a bad person with your snarky comments is a little unfair,....esp since your unaware of the context in why its a every 2 year replacement .........but more importantly....EVEN CLUB CAR RECOMMENDS REPLACEMENT EVERY 2 YEARS!!!!

This is based on my 2011 Precedent which I just did:
Video starts off by showing it with the headlight/"bumper" assembly removed which is probably why it seems different. In the video, you're looking at the square tubing ends that are the frame of the cart. Headlight assembly bolts to that frame end.
There are 2 long, vertical bolts in the assembly that go thru the frame ends you take out (10mm wrench on top, 13mm on the nut on the bottom) and an electrical plug to get it out of the way. Then it will look like what you see in the video.
THEN you have to take the steering gear box loose (but not off....slide to the side) (three 13mm head bolts on the steering box) to allow access/removal of the 13mm headed bolts in the inner side of the "Arm" assembly. Remove these (as well as the bolts on the outer end right under the shock bolt) and the whole arm will come out. Note: there is NO NUT on the back of the inner/outer bolts....they go into a threaded plate that stays on the cart.
You might also check your front shocks....especially if you notice them really greasy......(leaking). One of mine was completely shot.

The sentence just under the video name usually describes what the video is about, ....read the sentence and you will see that this isnt a "How to" rather more of an "informational" video on why its important .....heres that sentence....."Bushing replacement is an important part of maintaining your golf cart. In this video Mike TALKS about why it's necessary and how often you should have it done".....nothing about this sentence should have givin you the impression that I was showing how....but says "TALKS"....Mike "TALKS"....besides, I do this for free, no one pays me for this, just something we provide for free, Its kinda like that old saying "Tough titty says the kitty, but the milks still good"......now.....if you would like I will do the work for you,(if your local) were not in the business of showing people HOW to do the work so much as showcasing WHY it needs done......So, Im sorry if this video wasnt up to your very high standards and expectations, but im SURE you can find videos on the subject, you know, since mine are not good enough for you.....
