this made me re-listen to my tracks from when i started and it suprised how much i improved after just 3 tracks. at first you have no idea of whats happening and you end up limiting yourself to what you normally see and hear in videos but then you start experimenting and then you can make patterns the way you want them
when you make music by yourself you get very used to hearing the same sound on repeat that you start to think it's good.. when in reality it's trash. that's what's happening here.

You actually have to learn a bit of music theory and watch tutorials on how drum patterns are structured and then get creative once you learn the basics. And X doesn’t have the patience to do that

i feel like if he made the drums faster the song at the end actually could've been actually decently good, it kinda sounds like they were playing halftime the entire time
