Becca Bornman I’m not sure I play the electric kit for practice and it has a rim hit function, however maybe try something like even a block of wood or anything that sounds similar to a rim hit and mic in a way where you can’t hear the other drums or cymbals. Sorry for the late response. Keep up drumming!

I know this was 7 months ago, but I beg you not to buy those cymbals, go with all Istanbul Xist’s Heartbeats sound nice, but crack fast, and are generally just not worth it for the price. Istanbul Xists are 200-300 and sound and feel great.
AM-PM Cuber nah dude. Heartbeats are cheap and reliable. Mine have lasted through a lot for a long time and are half the price of Istanbuls, which are also impossible to find and overpriced. And crack fast

I like how Xist hi hats sound and I really like Istanbul rides but Heartbeat crashes have the sound I’ve always wanted.
