For those wondering about the euls scepter, yes, it is not a tank item and the stats only mildly fit Axe, but it is a secret smurf buy against Ursa because it removes buffs and debuffs, and Ursa overpower counts as a buff. If you can get a euls on him the moment he uses that ability, you can shut him down hard as he has to wait like 10 seconds for another one, drastically cutting Ursas DPS. Personally, if I am in such a matchup, i prefer my really old build with Ghost Scepter and maybe a force staff to kite, but respectable choice as well, mister Sabre 👍
About Khanda, you can do a lot of damage but Axe has an abysmally low strength gain, historically due to his mad armour stacking, that I prefer just building full HP on him, try and get loke atleast 300 HP per item to make up for it, and I always value survivsbility over raw damage potentially, especially as a melee, because it is very easy to shut down high damage, and stall in dota, cycling through support cooldowns. A reason why I've always been a fan of melee carries
About the matchup: Ursa, in theory, eats tanks, Axe is a tank and Ursa can do well against him BUT both Ursa AND Axe have really low strength gains and Axe has really high burst damage against anything with high attack speed like overpower Ursa. If Axe gets his early mid spike with blink blademail, he can really destroy an Ursa if he jumps him, but he if can not get a call off with a pre casted W, Ursa will win by a slight margin which becomes more and more Ursa sided as he becomes a raid boss mid-late game tanking up with Skadi, Satanic, SnY, BKB. My opinion as a most played Axe and third Ursa offlane player having played the matchup on both sides
With right build, Axe can stall Ursa for an insane amount. I had a moment where I was splitting their T3 and Axe stalled me and almost killed me after like 40 second fight before I popped my satanic. More of a skill matchup than it sounds, but that's the beauty of dota
@@sauceboss4895 Hard to slot in aghs for me, because if you are 1 you buy battlefury and if you are not you have hard time, you have low strenght gain and need hp and aghs just doesnt give that much HP
Ursa can be a hard matchup. You have to either really play for a jump burst with blademail, or go something like a euls or a ghost scepter. I have decent experience on both sides, you can outplay it. I think if you struggle, you probably go with normal cookie cutter build or vanguard (vanguard won't save you from an Ursa)
Anyone else believe blademail is one of the most overrated items in Dota? For 2k gold, you get chainmail and a half worth of relevant stats as a tank, irrelevant damage, the active is good for stalling but most will struggle to hold threat, it no longer grants you any intelligence and it builds into nothing for a precious item slot thst could get used for a lot of things like a bracer. The 10 intelligence you used to get, equal to a tread swap, was significant and you could feel it, especially as a low mana hero like Axe, it could mean one more chop easily
I would call it situational for games where you really think you can burst someone with an Axe call, which may be the case this match against an Ursa, but it will fall off hard
My preferred build, as a most played Axe, I enjoy going for a urn as it grants a solid amount of health and sustain since the rework and synergises with your kit, and I also really enjoy starting with components for soul ring instead of a bracer as I really enjoy the mana sustain for the multiple chops in the chaotic nature I usually create and have trouble fitting mana or intelligence in the build, though probably not as good in my opinion and more of a personal preference
The problem is thst item slots are very limited and there's so many early-mid items, like you will have boots, that's one slot, a wand is another slot, a bracer is one or two slots, you run out of slots way too fast that I am just skipping blademail unless I really think I can burst someone in a good Axe matchup, like yesterday some fart smella last pick PA into second rotation Axe and I dropped 35 kills
Saber light doesn't ulti a lot of time. And he should spam his ulti. Holding mana at start works but solo chasing brood and not performing ulti was something I am not sure why he does that. On the top of that the banter from him is unhinged. He says someone is noob and next second someone is pro. This guy I watch him in mute always.

I can't believe you destroy ursa like that. Whenever i play axe into ursa it's auto loss for me
You are herald that's why
Depends on the support, ringmaste does a lot of dmg, ursa doesnt do well againist magical dmg, tinker was useless
cos u noob
Tinker does not go well with ursa and I am not a fan of tinker support. Just doesn't have a stun

Is gothmog admiral bulldog
4:50 why no ult?
maybe because it costs 100 mana, and he thought that there's going to be more fighting and that 100 mana would make a difference
Lmfao guys it was on cooldown and he didn't notice the cooldown ended. Tf you're talking about
@@samizin911maybe, but he lost some free stats

4:49 why don't use ulti?
maybe holding mana because he was thinking maybe they could ult willow and ursa a few seconds later
