Carbery's 100 Isles - Pt 4 - Huge Seal Colony

A St Patrick's Day paddle. Great conditions here so I had to make the most of it by going out to the furthest of the Calf Islands where I found a large colony of seals. Being in a kayak means I can get very close without disturbing them - often when they are floating asleep with their heads in the air. I do feel bad when they suddenly realise there's a big yellow kayak a few feet away from them and wake up with a fright. On Calf West there's a strong population of seals which unfortunately made a dash for the water when they spotted me.
