"Celebrity" and "actor" are often forced together by the masses, which is why so many of them end up moving or living in another country than where their movies are typically shot. I think Cavill is the perfect example of a true nerd, with his interests in Warhammer 40 000 and the like, being unexpected in the Hollywood spotlight. People laugh it off when he says he plays World of Warcraft and paints Warhammer miniatures, not realizing it's a huge part of his personality. I think this perhaps shows the remnants of the stigma around being a "nerd" before it became popularised through video games, and much like how the jocks were put off vy the D&D players in the 90s, Cavill is perhaps expected to be less nerdy by other Hollywood actors because of not only his physique but the simple fact that he made it as an actor.

He's definitely an ambivert, he can be extroverted when he needs to be but very introverted most of the time. He needs someone who can appreciate that part of him as well as be able to take the backlash with his fame. That is a very fine line. If you are to date Henry you have to be prepared for that. It can be hard for everyone involved. That level of fame is daunting for many, and especially for people who are more introverted. Dawn I think you have a real insight into this man's character. I think at heart he is basically an introvert, and quite shy. Also he did not grow up with women,he had 5 brothers but no sisters, and his voice formative years were spent on a relatively small British island. His later school years were at a boy's boarding school so he wasn't surrounded by girls on a day to day basis. His love of online gaming again allows him to be anonymous, gender neutral (I've never actually heard him describe which character he plays as...). Physical prowess is clearly a big passion for him and the majority of his relationships have been with sportswomen or fitness enthusiasts. Ultimately I agree that his ideal partner will need to have that same balance of introversion & ability to handle his spotlight without being overwhelmed by it. He comes across as such a decent human being that it would be great to see him find his soulmate. Ultimately though maybe he is a singleton at heart...with Kal of course.

Granted the single life style isn't perfect but for me it is low stress and comfortable. I am quite happy with it. I have friends to share things with when I want to be around others, travel a lot (or did before Covid) both alone and with friends at times and don't need someone underfoot 24/7 to be happy. And yeah, I am well over 40 but don't worry about some petty immature jerk thinking I'm a loser. LOL, life is just fine for me.

I honesty doubt he’s single. I guess he’s just a private person and based on previous relationships he already knows what publicity kind of damage can do to his partner. That’s why he chose not to share that with the world. He seems very humble, polite and down to earth person, not only nice packaging.
I became totally infatuated with him when I saw him in the series the Tudors! Yes us older women can appreciate a very good looking man! I think he’s still single because he knows he has many choices outside of settling but I think perhaps his relationships end because he has way way too many requirements of what type of woman he will date! Once you start expecting anything other then the person you’ve become attracted to & start trying to mold them into what you expect over who they are? Then it’s an ingredient to failure! Yes we all want certain things & if you meet someone with similar values & aspirations that is a bonus but many in todays society don’t make a relationship into “us” but more so into “me” & in doing that they lose the very person they were initially attracted to! There’s nothing wrong with compromise or certain likes but he seems to expect a lot to be what he sees so in a way he wants to date a woman too similar to himself & the fact is opposites do attract & often those are the unions that are longer term! Wanting too similar can in itself cause friction as the other person can only be who they are! Ever noticed many today say “my” relationship when they are referring to their partner & themselves? In a way I think they are subconsciously saying mine because they are wanting more so what they want over seeing it as a team effort! If you pay attention you’d notice they are mostly the ones more likely to fail! People who say “our” relationship are already seeing it as two! That mindset can truly make a huge difference in an outcome! Far too often you get two people together who have lots to offer one another but then one person decides they will change them into what they see as the perfect partner! Once you try changing anyone you’ve lost the very person you came to be attracted toward! The more you question your worth So being in the public eye offers him more choices but it's all fluff and won't feed his soul, while also making it harder for those who would be good for him... Some people are just meant to be alone because the world does not understand us. I tried my entire life since coming of age to be with someone and it never worked. I've been by myself for the past 16 years and am relatively happy. Being alone is far better than stressing over grief with a partner that just doesn't get you.

Well this is 2 years later I'm posting and he is with a lady now. But I wanted to add that I noticed alot of good-looking guys and gals stay single for awhile. Part of it is that people assume they already have someone because they're pretty so they don't bother talking to them. The other side of it is, is that people who flirt with them tend to act desperate or/and make a fool of themselves. So it's actually extra tricky finding someone decent to date when someone is pretty. I had girlfriends (I'm a girl too so not in a romantic way) that are so pretty and decent personality and could not find a decent guy who likes them just for them and not just their pretty face. "Celebrity" and "actor" are often forced together by the masses, which is why so many of them end up moving or living in another country than where their movies are typically shot. I think Cavill is the perfect example of a true nerd, with his interests in Warhammer 40 000 and the like, being unexpected in the Hollywood spotlight. People laugh it off when he says he plays World of Warcraft and paints Warhammer miniatures, not realizing it's a huge part of his personality. I think this perhaps shows the remnants of the stigma around being a "nerd" before it became popularised through video games, and much like how the jocks were put off vy the D&D players in the 90s, Cavill is perhaps expected to be less nerdy by other Hollywood actors because of not only his physique but the simple fact that he made it as an actor.

He's definitely an ambivert, he can be extroverted when he needs to be but very introverted most of the time. He needs someone who can appreciate that part of him as well as be able to take the backlash with his fame. That is a very fine line. If you are to date Henry you have to be prepared for that. It can be hard for everyone involved. That level of fame is daunting for many, and especially for people who are more introverted. The people who are more extroverted don't do well with him just wanting to be at home, and those more introverted don't do well with fame. Dawn I think you have a real insight into this man's character. I think at heart he is basically an introvert, and quite shy. Also he did not grow up with women,he had 5 brothers but no sisters, and his voice formative years were spent on a relatively small British island. His later school years were at a boy's boarding school so he wasn't surrounded by girls on a day to day basis. His love of online gaming again allows him to be anonymous, gender neutral (I've never actually heard him describe which character he plays as...). Physical prowess is clearly a big passion for him and the majority of his relationships have been with sportswomen or fitness enthusiasts. Ultimately I agree that his ideal partner will need to have that same balance of introversion & ability to handle his spotlight without being overwhelmed by it. He comes across as such a decent human being that it would be great to see him find his soulmate. Ultimately though maybe he is a singleton at heart...with Kal of course.

Nobody was meant to be in long term relationships. That was achieved by limiting w*men's ability to support themselves so they needed a male provider. Granted the single life style isn't perfect but for me it is low stress and comfortable. I am quite happy with it. I have friends to share things with when I want to be around others, travel a lot (or did before Covid) both alone and with friends at times and don't need someone underfoot 24/7 to be happy. And yeah, I am well over 40 but don't worry about some petty immature jerk thinking I'm a loser. LOL, life is just fine for me.

If you pay attention you’d notice they are mostly the ones more likely to fail! People who say “our” relationship are already seeing it as two! Life love sex involves two completely unique persons entering into each other’s personal domain! Far too often you get two people together who have lots to offer one another but then one person decides they will change them into what they see as the perfect partner! Once you try changing anyone you’ve lost the very person you came to be attracted toward! So unless he’s willing to drop his expectations to allow whoever he meets to show him whether she’s the one he can appreciate he will never know if they are who he wants long term!

Well this is 2 years later I'm posting and he is with a lady now. But I wanted to add that I noticed alot of good-looking guys and gals stay single for awhile. Part of it is that people assume they already have someone because they're pretty so they don't bother talking to them. The other side of it is, is that people who flirt with them tend to act desperate or/and make a fool of themselves. So it's actually extra tricky finding someone decent to date when someone is pretty. I had girlfriends (I'm a girl too so not in a romantic way) that are so pretty and decent personality and could not find a decent guy who likes them just for them and not just their pretty face.
