Josh was manipulated into apologising for yelling and the stepmom was delusional and the father never took the complaint seriously, having a habit of grounding him wasnt a way to handle everything.
I mean there was no way the father (Stanley) was gonna know she was a liar But something that happens even in real life that the video shows is that the adults constantly side with adults even if the kid is right, no matter how many times the young one tries to explain himself, this is something that has to be improved

First off when john was forced to walk 5 miles in school he could just tell the teacher about that and try to compromise with the rule maker or whoever hosted this competition. Not only can that make an exception but get the stepmom in trouble for child neglect. I know that basically ruins the tradition of the evil character who is a dad or mom to realize what they have done and be nice again. But there is still a possible way to do that in the end. Also next time maybe the main character shane or whatever name they have should bring a recorder to record to conversationg or evidence. But this is what i personally think what should happen to be more realistic and sometimes i get so caught up in the story i actually take it personally. But yeah just my opinion hope you see this comment.
