I spend quite a bit of money on nuts, seeds and fat balls/blocks for the garden birds and squirrels every week but to me it’s money well spent 👍🏻 my garden is like a Disney movie, with a pair of foxes I feed every day too!!

My family had a baby squirrel (also named Chester) adopt us for a while over thirty years ago, & we STILL enjoy recollecting his antics! What unexpectedly charming creatures they are.
Absolutely adorable! It always warms my heart when I see someone who takes the time and effort to raise a helpless animal. It's so rewarding to see how much they appreciate and bond with the people who rescued them. Great job!

What a life to be a squirrel, right? Playing in trees, delicious nuts, sleeping all winter. YES! Anyway, Chester was like a gift from heaven after my horse died, and raising him was literally a dream come true. Thank you for your note, and me on the lookout after windy days. You may one day save an orphan squirrel, and when you do, write me for info on the important details of what to deed, how often, etc. I hope a squirrel naturally comes into your life soon. BTW you might let the local wildlife rescue folks know you are willing to "foster" a baby squirrel :-)

I like to make that clicking sound that they seem to respond to. I've feed them but I haven't had one brave enough to actually let me touch or pet it. Are you able to give Chester a kiss on the forehead or nose? I recently heard that baby squirrels can imprint onto humans. Is that true?

Oh, don't get all caught up and squishy about how adorable and cute squirrels are. I mean, when you pull back the curtain and all the smoke and mirrors run out, a squirrel ain't nothin' but a rat with good PR.
LOL. It's funny how squirrels always have the same expression on their faces. I'm always feeding them at my local park, mornings and evenings. Chester looks very happy. Great job!
E. B. Squirrels do seem to always have a similar expression on their face most of the time, just like Capybaras(look up 'Lap Capy' video here). But in these videos you get an up close view of these animals during their different moods, so even though the expression is the same, you can tell what mood they're in.
I had a squirrel which I nursed back to health. He was blindsided by a vehicle & in the street and I picked him up and he just looked at me. Animals know when you're helping the. It was a lot to care for. He was an adult & I was committed to help him. I also have a cat parakeet cockatoo blue front Amazon & Catalina macow. My cat I also rescued her she was stray. She's an indoor cat. They roam the house and got along. The squirrel turns was blind on the injured side and his head also tilt to that same side but he was a trooper. I had him 4 two years. He's living out his years in a rehab enclosure and had more than I could give him. I named him Angel because it had to be a miracle that he survived at all. People keep helping animals because they need us as much as we need the.
What a precious baby you have there. I bet him and Luna would have a great time playing and having babies together. I'm going to post some of her videos on here soon. So be sure to check her's out too. Love that boy Chester.
Just a funny addendum to my previous comment. So I had gotten in the habit of feeding peanuts to two squirrels who came to my balcony every day.. Of course, this was heavily frowned upon by my neighbors so I had to be careful not to be seen. Anyway, I am exiting my apartment one day, go about 10 feet and this squirrel comes running up to me on the sidewalk. I’m saying, go away, go away, you’re blowing my cover! My squirrels recognized me even away from my balcony. Funny little creatures! 🐿🐿🐿
What a really beautiful video.I also totally love squirrels,and it's really nice to see,how well they have adapted to being around people.Chester,the pet squirrel is so cute,adorable,and he definitely is very happy living in that house,with a very caring, and loving family.It's a real shame,that other people can't do the same,and help to rescue them,and take them to an animal shelter,or also adopt a beautiful squirrel like that, instead of allowing them to being abused,killed,or mistreated in the worst ways.They are also intelligent animals,and also deserve to live,as well playing an important role in our environment.Thanks for sharing this great, and positive video,and hope other people out there will also start treating them with alot of love,and respect.Well done, and please continue to share more videos of Chester,and if possible,find him a nice squirrel girlfriend.

Raised a squirrel as a kid with the help of my mom. Chipper was a very cool squirrel.
