Happy birthday once more, Diane 🎉❤! I turned 40 this Saturday, and all my friends and family have gifted me a glasshouse for my garden. I also got a voucher from my friends that their husbands will come and install the glasshouse. I am still speechless about such a phantastic and very generous present. I will get a glass house! That is so incredible 🙏🌱🍅...
When I was 9 we went on holidays with my most wonderful grandparents. We were all staying at a beautiful old fashioned hotel with a pianist in the dining room. Sometime during the day the family gave me my first watch ⌚ (I'm 63 and I've still got it). I'll never forget the pianist, he had a novel on the music stand, not sheet music! I was learning the piano by then and I was totally in AWE! He was playing something like Mozart. As the staff brought out a cake with sparklers, he turned it into Happy Birthday! I was very shy at the time, so partly was thrilled and partly wished I could slide under the table. The whole room sang along. I've never had a better birthday

I got so many nice birthday presents, books, craft stuff, a mandala painting book I use until this day to calm myself, wool of all kinds, gardening and kitchen stuff, flowers… I’m so grateful for the custom of giving presents. The best present I GAVE was the one for the retiring day of my husband: a GUITAR, you can put into pieces for travelling. He loves it literally to pieces, takes it even on bicycle travels with him and has played for so many people since then. It was kind of expensive, but worth every penny, the sound is wonderful and he has never played so often.
I wish you the best Birthday celebrations How lovely to have friends who spoil you and wh you can spoil. Jenn will surely think often of such a kind and generous evening of farewell.

My favourite presents were a necklace from my mum when I was twelve and a double swinging seat handmade by my brother William for the garden a few years ago. We as a family usually had birthday picnics or garden parties for summer birthdays and cosy celebrations around the open fire for the winter birthdays. We never had barbecues... never even heard of them.

Wishing you so much happiness 🎉 You are so motivating. You demonstrating the weeekly homeblessing in your early videos helped keep my sanity. If because of my health I can't get it all done in one go I just start on Monday and then do a few minutes on other days. As long as I do this and keep on top of dishes each day preferably before 8pm and also do laundry ,now only twice a week is needed, I feel so much better. It's getting very hot here now in Cyprus so most of my time is spent outside somewhere in the shade. I ❤ love summer months and enjoy going out to lunch with friends often in a hotel where we can also use the facilities. Have a wonderful summer enjoy your family and friends are really important to me too
Finally booked a hotel and train ride to Copenhagen at the end of august for our 25th wedding anniversary 🥂🥰! Any other recommandations apart from the harbour baths that are not found on every travel/tourist guide would be highly appreciated ❤!
