WHY WASN'T I RAISED IN JAPAN?!! *^* I seriously wish taiko and yosakoi were more widespread in America. It's just so fascinating to watch and listen! I totally would have joined clubs or groups like these!
That last dance with the little girl in focus. I can tell she was the best of the lot. Her body movements were so refined and controlled. Quite mesmerizing to watch.
Taratsamura an insult for someone who lives by the mantra "I wish I was Japanese" without fully understanding what life is like in Japan. Mostly these are people who are obsessed with anime, and think that if they lived in Japan they would be cool for liking anime so much.
It's true that my Intrest in Japan comes from Anime, but people like you, just dont understand. I dont think that i get super powers in japan or anything like that. I just got curious about japan because of anime. I wanted to learn more about Japan to for better understanding. But it turned out, that japan is just awesome! What i mean is that the culture is awesome, not the animes. (sure the animes are awesome as well) Its just the country i want to live in. Hard workers small flats Ignoring Strange people good recycling system polite speech Awesome festivals and of course you get the animes/mangas/novels first hand^^ there are much more things i like about japan, i found the good points living in japan, did you found the bad points? Tell me, im sure you know what it means to live in Japan :)
hmm...looks like this new festival has a lot of Chinese influence.. I still prefer the more festive AWA ODORI festival in Tokushima (simply watching and listening to it makes me intoxicated)
