Enjoyed the video. What exactly overheated? The battery, or the motor? I also have a Ranger EV, and I am a dealer for FleetLithium batteries. I am doing several range test within as well. Keep posting. I love your rough terrain. th-cam.com/video/sPGOBOgaVtI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=KqKdj9IJmqt6mcQl
The batteries did not overheat. It is most likely the sevcon controller. It could also be the motor. I do have a small computer fan running across the controller, but I think I need something more substantial. It's a little hard to see but the over temp light start to flash on the last pull to the mountain. Right around 52:55. I mean it was a a sustained 7 min pull at about 20% grade. After already climbing for the last 45 mins. So I wasn't all that surprised.
