its actually scary how u know exactly what tera should be used, like at 8:07, if it was me i would have used any fairy-resist type to counter only fairy moves, im kind of person who did not see the bigger picture. Anyway great video! i'll subscribe u right now.😉😉
I've tried this team and I think it's the best rain team I've ever tried, it's just NUTS how floatzel oneshots literally everything with 0 buffs and only finishes the onslaught when it dies from recoil.
Love the videos! I can say I've binged quite a bit of showdown YT-- I love how you break down what's going on so it's easier to learn. I've been using Red Card Baxcalibur for memes against my friends on showdown; do you think that there's any merit to this strategy?
Yes, there is but it is random, since bax is very tanky, it could eat one hit red card some other pokemon which your bax can either beat or have free setup And Thanks for watching :)
@@dracomenace :) thanks for replying! Yeah, on the first turn I have bax DDance and then try to sweep if I don't think the opponent has priority left. I'll fiddle around with it!
Have you thought about investing in bulk for Floatzal because with swift swim and a 115 base speed it can out speed most choice scarf users even with no EV investment.
man i got to say, wave crash choice band tera water floatzel slaps! I literally just kept killing tank after tank they sent. I thought Corviknight would survive a hit (it had just switched in) and i just, one shot the poor bird, like if it didn't have already one problem to deal with in this region Only problem was encountering a water absorb Clodsire, i did bring slush rush beartic, but it gets outsped by some more deadlier choice scarf users...
@@dracomenace yeah i guess you're right, gotta say, thanks for expanding my view on the rain team, i didn't know what other mons to bring against electric while still synergising with rain, so i brought amoongus, and while rain dance and energy ball were nice surprises against my oponents, it didn't quite do enough. weather ball kilowattrel sounds cool, imma try it ^^
It would be awesome if Floatzel base attack was increase to 125. Also the damage increase from 105 to 125 is not as insane as people might think. Try a Pokemon damage calculator that can increase and decrease the base stats of a Pokemon, like the app call VS SV. You will notice the damage it deals with 105 compared to 125 barely change but it still significant enough to matter in some cases. For me what matters the most is the power of the moves that the Pokemon use and the % increase you get from weather, items and abilities.
Hey mate, great team and great fights! Do you thinks it's manageable to run this team ingame on catridge, but without Iron Treads? I would like to battle some friends in wi-fi battles (no lengedaries, no paradox) and rain seems to make a lot of fun. What can I use instead of Iron Treads? Thx in advance, subscribed ;)
There are multiple options 1.The most common set: ddance , eSpeed, earthquake, icespinner/roost, tera normal 2.If you wanna go special on rain, I'd say you can truy hurricane, draco, roost, hydropump Or surf with either tera flying or water 3. You can also try a spdef variant that deals with chi-yu with roost but it isn't that common
My rain team has Tsareena and Raichu. It's pretty great. If the opponent tries to use an electic move on Pelipper, you switch and sweep with Raichu. Priority moves do not work against Tsareena.
