    Now THIS is an EUC review. No disrespect to evX and the work he put into post-production but I felt that was basically the majority of his review... Was so hyped for his thoughts but all we got was the wizbang, glitz and glam of editing with only surface scratching of thoughts and opinions with a large dash of aerial building photography. On the other hand, your review Hsiang was informative, balanced, and entertaining without having to use wanky dystopian sci-fi cut-ins. Thank you for your content mate. Keep up the great work!

    I'm almost tempted to get one, but on the other side, I'm pretty sure either kingsong or inmotion will come up soon with a 16 or 18inch suspension wheel soon, thus I'll just wait and spare my money for something just a little bit less heavy..

    Inmotion seems to have set the standard for build quality and safety with this offering. With battery tech what it is at present, you will have to sacrifice either quality of construction or safety for more range, which many manufactureres are willing to do and unfortunately far too many short sighted consumers are willing to accept. I'm pleased to see the engineers at inmotion have the long game in mind! Great review! Can't wait to get mine!!

    • @OWGAC
      @OWGAC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      they are VERY VERY different wheel, if you buy them both you will have no overlap, one is very stable and planted, the other is agile and let you run around all over. I am getting the sherman S but still very tempted by the V13!

    • @sammysokosammysoko
      @sammysokosammysoko 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BigBoss-gb4cx Am I missing something? The EX30 has a 4000w motor which is certainly less than the V13's 4500w nominal with 10,000w peak output (which equates to more than 13 horsepower, placing it above most small bore 125cc to 250cc motorcycles).

    • @sammysokosammysoko
      @sammysokosammysoko ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@yusufcanaktas6929 Im sorry, but no it isn't "just marketing" man. It may not tell the entire story, but it certainly means a lot. Watts in an electric motor tells how much power the motor can consume, so the efficient delivery of that power is the only question.
      Begode fans tend to confuse POWER with DELIVERY of power because the Begode firmware lets you access it all as fast as you want with no regard for safety.
      And for the record, Inmotion is about to release a new operating mode for the V13 that unlocks a higher threshold. It will be the first true 60mph wheel. I do not believe the EX30 can match that, as powerful as it may be.

    Excellent review. Loved the Sur Ron and Sonders comparison. The form factor to spec ratio of an EUC is unmatched. That was the most incredible video I have ever seen on any topic, but it is also the most dangerous activity I have ever seen. One pothole, one rock, one patch of "black-ice", one person opening their door, one person J-walking, one bird flying too low or one of a hundred other things that could happen and you are an organ donor. Unless you want your body dissected into pieces and given to 20 different people after you are brain dead from a collision, I suggest that your viewers never get one of these things. That said, I am in awe of your riding talent, especially while speaking and filming yourself while riding through traffic or along a line of parked cars. 2 words that popped: fast and dangerous. One subject no one touches is the need of sudden stops when exposed to abrupt condition. I enjoy my KingSong 14D, InMotion v8, GotWay Mcm, and try to remain alive while having fun at no more than 18mph😅

    I am really considering a high end euc for real errand running.
    I first looked at a one wheel, but the speed doesn't seem high enough. Euc's seem much harder to learn and operate, but whatever. I'll learn.
    To me, I don't get why they don't have a little handle, like the one that comes up to walk out. It seems like it'd be so much easier and stable to have a little center handle.

      they are weird and respond a little bit too dramatically at speed so I turned them all off. And no I don't think they made any significant differences since all that they do is to tilt the wheel in the direction (backward for braking)

    Great job on the V13 review, Hsiang! The wait was worth it. The only thing I kept thinking every time you wore your POC helmet while on the V13 was that chin guard will simply not be enough for protection. I also have the same POC with my DIY reinforced chin guard. I doubled its strength by reinforcing it with another POC chin guard wrapped multiple times with paracord. I think I may have to go back to my Bell Super 3R with full face chin guard when I ride my V13.
    Will you be getting your own V13 after having acclimated to it?

      @@access3952 My other helmet is a Bell Super 3R. It’s a full face helmet. Lightweight and well ventilated. Great for all seasons. The chin guard is removable too so that’s a great option if you are just going for a chill ride. However, when I do wear my Bell I usually just leave the chin guard on. I also wear goggles since the Bell Super 3R doesn’t have a face shield. I got the Super 3R on sale for only $200 vs. usual price of $250. It also has MIPS protection so your brain doesn’t bounce around as much on impact.
      Some others wear the TSG Pass helmet and it comes with a visor. It’s a little more expensive and runs in the low to mid $300 range. I personally don’t want to look like an astronaut so the TSG Pass is not my thing.

    I'm currently a Onewheel guy, but I've been considering an EUC. I feel like I would want this one because while I have no intentions of going that fast, the headroom means I won't outdo the motor and "nosedive" (or whatever the EUC equivalent term is). I assume that translates to a higher torque which avoids awkward bits where a hill is too much at the speed you'd like. Basically I just want to avoid a situation where my EUC can't hang and gravity wins. I still have that issue on my GT from time to time due to my size
