      @@yusufcanaktas6929 Im sorry, but no it isn't "just marketing" man. It may not tell the entire story, but it certainly means a lot. Watts in an electric motor tells how much power the motor can consume, so the efficient delivery of that power is the only question.
      Begode fans tend to confuse POWER with DELIVERY of power because the Begode firmware lets you access it all as fast as you want with no regard for safety.
      And for the record, Inmotion is about to release a new operating mode for the V13 that unlocks a higher threshold. It will be the first true 60mph wheel. I do not believe the EX30 can match that, as powerful as it may be.

    Besides the fact that it looks like InMotion produced an excellent wheel, their design+manufacturing process appears legit
    They listen to customer input
    They pay attention to detail
    Safety is top priority , strong effort made not to release an unsafe wheel - (this point is more important than ever given how powerful these wheels have become)
    In the end they will release a well polished and finely tuned product worth the wait
    I'm not trying to bash other wheel makers, Begode has produced some excellent wheels in the past using their approach ; however, EUCs have moved into the next stage of maturity and just cranking out wheels at breakneck speed with very similar specifications and some questionable points in the overall design and testing is eventually going to be a big detriment
    It's getting to the point where EUCs will become like mobile devices when being evaluated by customers.
    Do you want an Apple or BrandX for example

    The Inmotion V13 looks very well built but I still don't like that it weighs over 100 lb. I don't know what you would have to compromise on to get to less than 100 lbs but I would like to see a EUC capable of going 55mph, has suspension, and weigh around 90 to 95 pounds.

    Even a small 125cc motorbike can have more than 30 hp. The V13 PEAKS at around 13 hp, but normal use is half that. So no, not an electric motorcyle. More like an electric moped.

  • @Roskellan
    @Roskellan ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The good - fast, stable, quality, weather proof, display, lights, strong. The bad - the price, weight, suspension not as good as it should be, complexity (too many screws, tyre changes etc). The ugly - range. In the end does it tick your boxes, for me it doesn't and the Master is more of a match.

    the shocks are old-school and I don't trust they'll be durable. saw an evee's teardown yesterday, and inmotion actually
    used WOOD screws in the top section. you'd think they would stop doing that after all the negative feedback about it. there was also a lot of wear around the shocks despite not having been ridden all that much. last, I don't want to remove dozens and dozens of screws and disassemble an entire wheel just to change the tire. i think inmotion nailed the battery and the bms, but the rest doesn't seem that great. it's disappointing. they need to reduce the number of screws, somehow reduce the number of parts, and simplify how it all fits together.

      agreed, as much as I wish for more battery, I am not sure if I am willing to deal with an even larger/ heavier/ more expensive wheel. To be able to maintain 48mph top speed all the way down to 30% is quite impressive and I personally rarely if ever ride more than 30 miles in one go

    I think this wheel is a little niche - Unless one is an Inmotion fanatic, I think an experienced rider would really have to know what this wheel is all about, which appears to be high cruising speed on new or uncertain surfaces. Otherwise people will be drawn to bigger batteries and higher (potential) top speed.

    • @OWGAC
      @OWGAC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is certainly a point of diminishing return with performances, so if you are only interested in riding 20-30mph, the V11 is all you need, but if you want to do 40-50. Then you’ll have to step up to the larger wheels. BUT that acceleration and power is evident even at lower speed, so there’s that.

    How much lighter is this wheel without a suspension?

  • @mig6220
    @mig6220 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    As someone who understands euc's- this wheel contradicts itself. The way all wheels are used, puts them in their catagories.
    V13 is an open road wheel, with all around wheel battery capacity.
    It doesn't fit into any catagory. Too much compromise was made.
    All around wheels are smaller. Less than 70lbs. 20 inch or smaller. Can go street and offroad. Not necessarily ideal for open road, but can do it.
    T4, S22, Master. V11. Non suspended are V10F, V12, RS, Nikola.
    Open road wheels are horrible offroad because of weight. Have 3600wh to make it purposeful on the open road. A ramp is needed to lead them into cars on the larger ones. 22 inch rim on some makes it even more stable at high speed, but even worse in a twisty track.
    These are ComPro. Sherman S. Master Pro/X. (Master Pro was dead last at AVS speedway because of WEIGHT. V13 is even heavier.).
    As the heaviest euc with a 22 inch wheel, that's horrible offroad and in twsty tracks-V13 is an open road wheel.
    But it barely has the capacity of a small all around Master!
    So it's NOT an open road wheel. 🤦🏾‍♂️
    The fix- Inmotion needs more battery. Add it up top to keep the slim profile.
    It's already the heaviest. Make it HEAVIER to make it make SENSE.
    I've seen battery packs added to Monster Pro by owners, so it's not difficult.
    They've upgraded the V5, V8(twice), and the V10. So they know how to do it.
    Once it's a proper OPEN ROAD wheel, then it'll be a hit!

    • @OWGAC
      @OWGAC  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I believe you can ride the V13 for 30 miles at roughly 40-45mph pace. which makes it a solid choice for commuters with a average 10miles trip each way (US i believe) more battery would please the hardcore enthusiast but that is probably a smaller percentage of the market than we imagine.

    • @mig6220
      @mig6220 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Hsiang
      If that's all ur going to do- there's a dozen wheels that can do that for less. And are lighter- with great quality, and better suspension. That's alot of money and weight for a little bit of riding.
      I do 30-50miles basically every group ride in DC- and with the smaller pevs, sometimes there's no charge station available.
      And you know fully depleting and filling batteries all the time is horrible for battery life.
      It'll make a short range, heavy wheel even shorter. 🤦🏾‍♂️
      Plus ur not taking into account the loading into a car- which will need a ramp!
      There's alot of drama doing that- I'd never take my Master Pro out because it's a pain in the ass for short distances.
      V13 is heavier. All it can do IS short range.
      Plus, Marty Backe found out you don't even get the full charge! He rode offroad with Roger Hajali- who said "it had less climbing power than the S22. I spent the day overpowering the wheel"
      I believe we'll see a V13F sometime in the future. Too many comprimises were made.
      This is easily the biggest miss of the year, and one of the biggest failures in euc history.

    All due respect to this video and your commentary.. if you're going to compare electric unicycles to motorcycles, you need to change the orientation of your channel. EUC's are NOT one-wheeled motorcycles and giving them that creedence invites all kinds of problems in my opinion.
    Regardless of youTubers pumping the newest heavy suspension wheels.. the exception is not the rule, and if you look at the best-selling electric unicycles, they're all smaller toquey, pedestrian-friendly, fun wheels that are not being covered on TH-cam in this new heavy wheel crazed cycle of EUC's.

    • @OWGAC
      @OWGAC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven’t really seen any world wide sales figures since no one is willing to release them, however I can guess that companies would only build wheels that they think will sell base on currents numbers so my assumptions are that larger and faster wheel now outsells smaller cheaper wheels. As to the whole motorcycle vs unicycle thing, I don’t think there’s any orientation that needs to be changed, I am interested in a portable high performance urban transport that is fun to ride and whatever form it takes, I’ll ride it and talk about it. I don’t think EUC has reach its final evolution, not even close

    I can very much appreciate the engineering, and I hope it forces a response from Begode/Extreme Bull in terms of battery safety and redundancies. I worry about the braking distance and weight of the wheel at those speeds, though; moving my RS is hard enough sometimes in close city riding that I feel like adding another 60lbs may invite overconfidence and disaster, given the speed available.
