No computer, send return for djs 1000 no sync what so ever.. damm thats some skills.. what connectivity did you use? the CDJ 2000 nexus are not ment to be link compatible with the djs 1000 yet everything was top notch. Great insparation video

To pair it with a controller you would need one that has inputs on the back. Any DVS enabled controller would work however it won’t sync with the controller. You would need to manually beat match it into your set using tempo adjust and nudge buttons.
That’s a good point. It should be able to connect via the midi out on the Roland and midi in on djs1000. It’s not something we can personally test but theoretically it should work.
@@LLoyoc For sure. The 808 connects and masters any gear with a midi in port. I used Akai Force, MC 707, and an analog synth or two to play hybrid sets. Usually play a track or two from serato every once in awhile when I need a break from creating on the fly.
How is this synced as Pioneer recommends another mixer ? IT seems there is manual sync goig on also... I wonder if the djm 750 mk2 would BE fine for this setup in combination with xdj 1000s mk2?
yes it works. i am using exactly the setup you are asking for. you will need a network spilt box to do the sync. it will not automaticly sync if you use the xdj as a controller with rekordbox running.

Its a shame that no rekordbox controller has a MIDI out so if you wish to pair it with a controller you need to check software from the competition

Lots of bugs like live sampling not lining up with the bpm and crashes. Don't expect bug fixes just like the SP16 Pioneer sucks!!!
could you decribe it bit more precisely. i am not suffering the same but it seems there is room for improvement. i wasn`t if it was me or the hardware
