Thank you for making the build for this game. I've tried searching many places but haven't found a detailed build yet. I want you to continue to create because your work is very precious.
I'm halfway through palace of ice it is the expansion for the CoTM campaign. You get level 8 spells and a whole ton of good and strong items. This build is good. I'd like to see you build a Lore Bard and what secret spell choices you take.
I finished the main campaign in solasta first. Now I'm playing the main campaign on Pathfinder wotr. After that I have to play the DLCs campaign from solasta.
Legendary 1. Paladin/scald 2. Druid/ crusader 3. Mystic theurge/arcane tricster/eldrige knight 4. Kenitisis/slayer 5. Wizard/2hf 6. Crusader/fighter 7. Bloodrager/paladin 8. Elven curve blade with both PA and PS on a barbarian with celestial totem and life/combat oracle 9. Inquisitor/monk Overwhelming soul kenitisis/oracle or sorcerer 10. Most importantly small size mounted character. on a raptor and another on a leopard. I wonder if you go fighter/ monk and reduce the ACP on the armor to 0 do you get your monk bonus to AC?
Halman Summer (Antiquarians) sells the Cloak of Displacement. It's quite expensive though, it costs 16000 or so. I think he sells every non-unique magic item in the game. Also it's quite easy to save-scum good magic items including the Cloak of Displacement, when getting access to your private quarters in Caer Cyflen.
The lack of "humanoid" choice was likely to avoid making an auto-choice. Unless they would implement it as it is in 5e... In 5e when you pick humanoid as your favoured enemy, you don't pick the whole class of humanoids, you pick specific types of humanoids (but get to pick 2 instead of 1 generic group) so for example your ranger at lvl 1 can have favoured enemy beast or favoured enemy goblins and orcs.
@@cRPGBro Honestly they changed what favoured enemy does in general. In 5e it's pretty much just "oh you know how to track them better and know more about them + know their language" meanwhile in solasta it's actual damage benefit.
Thank you for taking Your time to make these guides, made ma actually try to finish Solasta before BG3 release! Could you spare the detail of when (or if) You are going to make a guide for bard? I am having hard time deciding if I should go melee dex or range.
Dammit, Ranger was one of the few classes I wasn't interested in and now that's changed... I think I'm going to wait for a few more of your guides so I don't feel like restarting every time you come out with a cool build idea...
By default, you can speed the animations a bit by pressing "Space". However I find that a tad slow still, so you can use the Unfinished Business mod to increase the speed even up to 3x+ when pressing space. My preferred pick though is combining UB with Cheatengine, because I can then increase ALL of the game's speed to around 1.5x or so, while still benefitting from the increased animation speed from UB/spacebar.
I'm not a fan of these new rules that blur the classes together. Like giving +++ to AC without requiring a shield while duel wielding. It seems to break the game for me. Same with giving everyone the ability to heal, etc. Kind of makes the niche roles of other classes obsolete. These new sub classes and abilities are always power creep work arounds to get past the intended balance road blocks of the game. Like allowing rolling stats makes humans absolutely worthless. And yes, if you can start with a ranger with max stats and so then can take all the great AC feats, then of course you now made fighter obsolete. I've also played these overpowered characters, and after a couple of hours effortlessly defeating what should have been tough battles, i concluded it wasn't fun to play that way. Wizards being able to merely choose a background that gives medium armor- broken. Too much cheese. As someone who wants a balanced challenged game with random loot, it requires discipline to not cheat or cheese but also makes me unsure what i should pick to now to have an interesting challenging fun game. I guess just stick with the old school basics. I think a fun game would be to try super old school rules. Create a team rolling 3d6 stats in order and make what class and party you may of it. That would be a challenge. But that style game is where random loot would be better to help compensate for the low ability points or gimped classes.

Thank you so much for the comment and the nice words, I truly appreciate it 😃
You are doing what I am doing. Playing solasta in between wotr and bg3.
It's nice to get the hang of 5e mechanics!

Yep, I'm doing Palace of Ice too and it's nice having more powerful abilities & gear for once!

Palace of Ice has been fun so far, especially due to the 4 extra levels from 12-16 and better loot!
@@cRPGBro Yea I felt like the main campaign was quite short, hopefully we get an expansion or two to get all the way up to 20

I got a plate armour +2 from that chest. Needless to say my paladin is set for armour.
You can buy it in Palace of Ice too, pity it takes so long to get, but the effect is definitely worthwhile.

Yep, I understand why they didn't include it, but I would still rather have the subraces as choices then like Humans, Elves etc.

No problem, more fun Solasta Guides coming soon!
How do you have the combat animations so fast? That looks so useful!

@@cRPGBro That is awesome thank you for the information!
Hi! Do you use a feats mod? because i dont remember the game has so many feats to choose.

Solasta is all about paywalled dlc archetipes that are by far superior compared to base game ones
That's usually how it always works in ttrpg game design. The stuff you release first is virtually always less powerful than anything that comes after.
I bought of them and base game for $22 total... Which is funny because the Lightbringer version is $35... lol
